WWDITS is currently the Shrodinger's cat of writing. Until we get season 6, it is both a show that expertly set up a slow burn romance with well used editing and prop placement, and a show that blundered its subtext so bad that it didn't see how well they set up a very obvious romance to just fumble it in the final season.
