I'm a former feral cat who forced his way into my peoples' home on Oct 11th 2023 !!
I was bald because I was severely matted !!
In Nov of 2024 I had a urinary blockage with irritation and flareups simimlar to cystitis sometimes !!
In Sept 2025 I had kitty bottom surgery and am no longer at risk of urinary blockages !!

1. Have you tried x, y, or z for his urinary issues?
The answer is most likely yes ! I appreciate the desire to help, but we've been on top of his urinary issues since day one, and all the advice given then had been requested and was incredibly helpful!
Yes we have cat fountains
He doesn't like wet food
He doesn't like it when we soak his kibble
He's on a prescription urinary health diet
He's currently on Gabapentin
Yes I'm aware there is a surgery, we do not have the money for it at the moment, and will be saving for it in the future

3. Who is Mimi?
Mimi is Croutons' wife! She was the resident cat before he arrived and isn't too fond of him, but is fine with his presence. We took our time with their introduction and dont let them annoy each other too much, but theyre fine on their own and seek out their own spaces accordingly.
4. Do you have any other pets?
Crout and Mimi have a baby brother named Toothpaste! (a.k.a PeePee) hes a 3 year old Green cheek conure! The cats dont pay much attention to him (and are only around when hes in his cage) and they know to keep a distance from his cage

not seeing a lot of people on here talking about ICE murdering another man yesterday. His name was Lorenzo Salgado Arajou. He was a Mexican man living in Houston Texas. He was killed at age 52 and lived the past 35 years here in the USA, and was in the process of obtaining a work permit. He was shot and killed during a traffic stop that ICE claims was part of a targeted operation, and claimed he was โweaponizing his vehicleโ- the same claim ICE agents made when they shot and murdered Renee Good.
During the stop, Lorenzo had 3 coworkers with him in his truck who have all been taken into ICE custody.
His family described Lorenzo as a hardworking family man who didnโt deserve to be killed. All he wanted was to provide for his wife and see his sons become great people. His eldest son recognized his father by his cries and pleas when trying to identify who the victim was.
The Salgado Araujo family has set up a gofundme to help with funeral and legal costs, and to help keep their family supported since Lorenzo was the sole provider.

Hi all, my partner got a flat tire the other day and it canโt be repaired, so they need all new tires. itโs going to cost $450. they urgently need this done as they drive 30 miles each way to and from work every work day, and the two of us are disabled. they canโt work until this gets repaired as my car canโt drive that distance. they have gotten some donations already.

idk if youve answered it before, but was Crouton born with a nub tail?
I'm honestly not sure!! I can't tell if it feels like a break, that it got chewed off as a kitten, or a natural kink in his tail? I do know that the little white end on his tail is due to the way his tail is shaped! It has a little hook on the end that gets stuck on things sometimes <3

When we brought him to the vet they had little to no concern at looking into it seeing as it doesn't bother him!!! I am curious as to what it looks like though, x-ray wise!
