First exercise for soft pastels...glad I bought the baby sized ones cos this was messy. Not my kind of medium but, it’s really fun to work with (aside from the dust lmao)

Plate2 for HOA3. Decided to do Huang He Lou because those sweeping gabled roofs are so pretty and the structure’s legend (bout the Yellow Crane) fits the theme for this plate (comic)

I love Japaaaaan, I was so happy we got to study their traditional architecture plus paint it in the traditional Japanese print style.
