re: killing koral
he was FULLY willing to listen to occtis and potentially let him liveβ¦ right up until the moment when it was made extremely clear that koral was the one who cast the curse on his sister. that he was part of the fall of the golden orchard. julien didnβt just decide βeh fuck potential allies, my mission of Murder All Tachonis is more important,β he killed someone who he knew was directly culpable for the harm done to his family and the orchard.
frankly fucking understandable. and I donβt think occtis, given his attachment to thimble and the orchard, is gonna be too upset when he learns the full story of that. he might have made the same call. he keeps hoping not all of his family is bad, but heβs also willing to accept when they are.
