my #justatheory is that bon isn't jack but he's also not n o t jack . sort of. i think jack got so engrained in the idea that he needs to be strong for sophie and rose that he had some kind of psychotic break because he, in truth, couldn't handle everything + he was so angry at felix, started hearing "bon" in his head the night he went to felix's house or maybe even before, and when/just before he [i'm assuming] killed himself "bon" became some sort of like.....ghost....entity.....supernatural manifestation of all those unresolved feelings . or some such. bon saying his canvas was "burnt up and torn apart" or whatever he said could be figurative speaking more than physical......just how rosemary wasn't necessarily physically "already dead" when bon was talking to her. maybe jack needed to die for bon to become "real", and thus some deal was struck that if jack killed himself bon would "fix" everything.........but that's #justatheory folks
