Darth Revan, for once without a mask.

A fabulous Revan I discovered recently!! Brin, brainchild of the fabulous @flintnap who not only saved my ass as I was failing to set up my artfight profile, also recently did an amazing and hilarious drawing of my Revan and her absentee father. I technically did start this before I saw flint’s drawing of my girlypop, but I’m calling it revenge anyways.

I loved learning about Brin! It’s crazy to see how many similarities there are between Her and Snow, the conditional pronouns, scars, being short, aroace, into dramatic clothes, etc.

POV you’re having a poetically dramatic death with your best friend and mortal enemy and some weirdo with your face busts through the door and starts info dumping at you while you’re actively bleeding out.

Like I said in my previous post with this concept, I don’t think making Maul a nightsister would change all that much about her story until she meets her family and realizes she has a whole other weapon she could be exploiting to beat the shit out of her ginger nemesis. I think Sidious would have purposely kept her from information about the nightsisters so she doesn’t get it in her head she can fight back and didn’t need him for everything. When she gets to Dathomir she has a whole moment where she’s like ‘I could do this the whole time!?

Savage is a little wary at first because while Maul doesn’t act like the other nightsisters, he’s still gotten burned a few times. After like a week he gets over it and starts acting like a big brother which drives her insane because being picked up and put to bed is undermining her absolute authority as a sith master

This drawing started out as a pun but I came up with a couple of ideas for it. Malak has the other half of his helmet but he doesn’t wear it cause his vision is shit. Revan never takes off the helmet and may or may not wear a ridiculously heavy chainmail skirt.

“Two young and promising knights lead a military defense of the kingdom only to fall to the influence of dark sorcery and turn on their former kingdom” - medieval fantasy or Star Wars? Could apply to either.

Someone needs to tell that sith to shut his mouth before his ex husband realizes he’s not hallucinating.

I strongly believe that if Maul was born female she would be the exact same personality wise and would make the exact same terrible life choices but would have a slightly better relationship with Mother Talzin and would try to light Obi-Wan on fire with nightsister magick at least a few times before giving up and going back to trying to stab him.

The relationship with Savage would probably get off to a more rocky start but I do think Savage would realize pretty quickly that she’s not like the nightsisters he knows and then the big brother instinct would kick in and he’d forget she’s not a nightbrother.

The sexual dimorphism in Dathomiri Zabrak is crazy so it was really fun to gender-bend such a distinct looking character. I tried to keep the base features the same but do some nightsistery style.

I find them fascinating because they’re just the epitome of the two worst people you know finding each other and somehow actually being a good couple. I might be alone in this but I feel like they did really really care about each other. Ulic is definitely someone who picks up attachments left and right but in some weird was Exar wasn’t trying to manipulate him or change him like a lot of his other personal relationships. I might be delusional but seriously, what kind of sith goes to personally rescue his apprentice from a very dangerous situation that said apprentice got himself into. like, yes he was also there to do other things, but sith don’t do self sacrifice and Exar could have very easily died. I found it odd that ulic immediately turned on Exar when nomi purged him of the dark side, I think it could be interpreted that Exar brainwashed him like he did to a bunch of others but I personally don’t agree with that. Ulic didn’t 100% follow Exar’s orders, in fact I’d say that a good chunk of the time he did his own thing or just pretend to have water in his ears when someone told him hear to do.

After the latest two episodes of Maul Shadow Lord and rereading the Darth Plagueis novel, I felt compelled to draw Sidious so we can make fun of him. He’s an interesting villain because he’s very easy to hate, but I feel like it’s worth remembering he had a progression to what he was just like the other sith, though he had WAY less of an excuse than the rest of them.

Sidious was a spoiled Nabooian noble who grew up extremely privileged. He had a bad relationship with his family, specifically his father who he felt was trying to ice him out of his noble birthright. He eventually discovers his formidable force abilities when he loses his temper and control and massacres his entire family including young children. He’s kind of the quintessential psychopath villain who maybe could have had a different life if people caught it early on, but was pretty much always going to be some kind of fucked up.

All that being said I think maul should be allowed to hit him with a car.

As for baby maul, as much as I liked the flashbacks in episode 8 of MSL, I still like him being taken as a baby way more. Maul doesn’t act like someone who had a childhood with family friends. His ass was raised in a box by a droid. Lowkey Sidious googled how long babies take to grow into apprentices and was very disappointed by the answer.

I think my friends and family are sick of listening to me talk about the new maul show so I’m expressing my rabid excitement on procreate instead.

Cannot WAIT to watch my favorite hot mess lose everything in his life for the 12th time, I know I post a lot of tales of the Jedi comics and kotor, but I got into Star Wars by watching this little freak run around like a cat with it’s tail on fire in the Clone Wars show. I’ve typed “how many days until April 6th” into google so many times that by typing “how” I get the full question suggested.

I can’t say everything I want to say about this show now
