Im kinda not good at shading since i usually do flat colots but…

make a little mitten shape, a bump for the big thumb muscle, a line for where you want to knuckles to be (and where the fingers end), and you can work out how the hand does hand things~

you can make them more simple or more real, however you want! hands are weird, so don’t worry if they keep looking wrong for a while, once you figure out what works for you, it’ll click. If you practice like 10 or-so basic hand shapes, you can make slight variations on all those, and 10 turns into 20 different hand poses~

If you’re like me (not very creative) you’ve probably considered figuring out if you can decently recreate the effect they use in mp100 whenever anyone uses psychic powers. If you don’t know what the fuck a mob psycho is, here are some examples of what that is.

Disclaimer! This is probably not the most intuitive way to do this. There’s probably some photoshop thingy that can generate these sort of textures or something. I’m just using firealpaca, so this can probably be used in a lot of different programs. All you really need is clipping.

STEP ONE

Get yourself some textures. I did this by looking up “holographic foil texture” but uh. the results aren’t amazing. Please tell me if there’s a better way to find these sorts of textures because. yeah.

I’ll also put some textures I’ve made beforehand under the cut because this is just outrageous.

STEP TWO (skip if using my textures)

Find a way to make it usable as a texture. No idea how this works in other programs but in firealpaca there’s a thing called extracting lines under the filter tab, mess with that a bit. You want there to be a lot of contrast between the transparent and black parts.

Here’s the first texture I made that’ll also be at the bottom of the post for redundancy.

STEP THREE

Get your drawing and put a fuzzy aura with an airbrush around the character doing the psychicing. You may want to use a bright color just so you can see it if there’s a white background, but you’ll eventually need to make it white.

for example, here’s a mob.

STEP FOUR

Take the texture and put it over your drawing, just enough so it covers the aura. Then, either turn on protect alpha or make another layer with clipping and color the texture. You may want to play around with the colors a bit, but you can do this at any stage so. ya.

STEP FIVE

Alright now you can clip the texture onto the aura and make it white. This is all pretty simple stuff uhh… If you don’t know how to clip things and use protect alpha, look in your layer settings. Keep in mind it may be called something different in your program, also you may have to merge the color layer onto the texture layer if your program can’t clip over clipped layers.

And that’s pretty much it! You can play around with colors and maybe put a slightly off center layer of the filter that’s another color under the main layer… etc etc.

I tried to transcribe/translate track #11 from the Mob Psycho 100 drama CD with the help of my friend, Yoli. I don’t claim 150% accuracy. If there you want to contribute a better translation for any part, feel free to leave notes on the doc. Thanks @zeitara for helping me out as well!

Track #11: Hobby

Dimple: Oh? That’s that Hanazawa guy isn’t it? Hehe, I’m going to see what he’s up to. Hmm? I can hear something..

Teru: Tch!! Hurry up and spit it out!

Dimple: Huh? What’s happening?

Teru: Why are you being so difficult?! 

Mob: Hanazawa, there’s no need to be so rough.

Dimple: He’s with Shigeo? What are these guys up to?

Teru: It’s fine. We don’t have to play nice. Anyway, this guy swallowed up something very important from me.

Mob: Do you think it’ll come out if we use psychic powers?

Teru: Hmm. Let’s try it for a bit. See if we can drag it out by force.  (Teru tries XD)

Mob: Hanazawa, that’s enough!

Teru: That didn’t work after all.. What now? If I’m going to try something else… There’s nothing left to do but to beat it out.

Mob: Let me try.

Teru: Sorry, Kageyama. Give it a shot and see if you can do it.

Mob: Got it. Here I go. (Mob tries) I couldn’t do it. Didn’t even budge..

Teru: It’s been awhile since I’ve had to do this.. Kageyama-kun, this is going to get dangerous so stand back. I’ll drill it out with this drill! 

Mob: But if you do that.. ! 

Teru: It’s fine, since it wasn’t cooperating in the first place….  (Teru starts drilling.) Doing this won’t be so bad. (Teru continues drilling.)  All right, it’s opened.

Mob: Huh, so that’s what it’s like inside.

Teru: Now’s not the time to stand in awe, Kageyama. Hurry up and take it out.

Mob: Yeah.

Teru: No way… It’s all tangled up…

Mob: Hanazawa.. All the contents will come out if we try to pull anymore.

Teru: What is this!! I can’t do anything with it like this! 

Dimple: I’m getting tired of listening to you guys.

Mob: Oh, Dimple, you’re here.

Teru: It’s strange that you’d be the type to spy on other people.

Dimple: You’re the ones who are strange! You’re going to such great lengths for a videotape. Just buy a new one!

Mob: This stubborn tape is the thing that’s very important to you?

Teru: “Corpse of the Flying Pig” is my favorite movie. There is no DVD available so it’s vintage. 

Mob: It’s a shame.. We’ll have to cut it with scissors.

Teru: Are you nuts?

-Snap your asparagus near the base–it will snap for you, trust me, just a little pull and it will snap, that keeps there from being a tough base. Then pop it in an oven pan, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper, add a dash of lemon juice, oven at 425 for 10 minutes until a little soft (NOT TOO SOFT)

-BRUSSELS SPROUTS–saute in bacon grease, add some bacon bits, finish with brown sugar right when they start to lose their toughness and soften up, make sure you extract before they become mushy, there needs to be just a little bit of crunchy

download these two then setup paint studio right click one of the icons after its done and click “file location” copy the crack files into the main paint studio file then click on the crack.exe till it says ok open paint studio
