Charles has an older 1st cousin, Elijah, and as a kid they were always a bit forced to hang out with each other, this is how those interactions went.

However I've changed it up since then! I wanted to give Death something a bit more unique, so now I introduce to you, Daisy!

Born into a dying farm in the early 1900s, Daisy was found clinging onto her last specs of life after a tornado took out her mother and her previous owner.

Death felt a connection to this dog he couldn't explain yet, and after investigating its learned Daisy's ancestor is cerberus himself, and with that information he made a case to preserve Daisy's life in immortality, and make him her eternal caretaker.

Life allowed it, not because she cared about death, as she doesn't in the slightest, but because the dog was simply that cute, and she agreed to do it if she could name it.

So the dog was named Daisy, the flower that sprouts after death.
