a doodle before my first shift

they have no idea how happy i was to hear this sentence as someone who had to wear safety glasses for filtering the fryers at my old restaurant. i tried to tell them that i cannot see with the safety goggles over my glasses and it gave me a massive headache. i couldnt rake my glasses off because i genuinely could not see. they didnt listen and it had to be theirs and i understand the importance but i couldnt see. i tried to avoid filtering due to it but sometimes id have to.

they called again immediately so i answered half awake and my tired mind went "huh?" and my brain thought she said w2 and asked if i had time to discuss (doesnt make sense but i literally just woke up) and thinking man i dont want to discuss taxes and shit as soon as i wake up i said "uhhhhhh not at the moment" but she actually said interview

.... it was the recruiter for the position i applied for 😭
