I'm writing this horror book about faeries, and I want it to be as detailed, gory, and accurate as possible, but I'm hitting a blank. So, question?
What are random things faeries would do that is terrible for you but fun for them?

BSD timeline based on Dazai’s age
I just binge-watched Bungou Stray Dogs and I’m in love. Anyway, since I had some trouble figuring out the order of the flashbacks, I assumed maybe others had too. I made a timeline from what I could gather. Bear in mind that I only watched the anime, so some info might be slightly off.
1. At age 14, Dazai tries to commit suicide and ends up on Dr. Mori’s table. That same night, Mori kills the Port Mafia’s boss, making Dazai his accomplice. Dazai doesn’t join the Mafia yet, but he becomes Mori’s right-hand man all the same
2. Dazai meets Chuuya at age 15, when Chuuya was still head of the Sheep and Dazai is still Mori’s right-hand man. Together they try to investigate the reappearance of the Mafia’s ex-boss, while at the same time uncovering Chuuya’s past, ending in a fight against Randou. After the Sheep betray Chuuya, both of them end up officially joining the Mafia.
Thank you🥰
Okay, okay. I've seen a lot of crossover ideas with DC and DP, MLB, etc. But what other fandoms? So, I've been reading webnovels recently, and the weirdest crossover ideas that make no sense stuck in my brain right now, so this might be a wild one.
We all know the batfam dominates 97% of the DC universe. They might be human, but they scare the living shit out of almost everybody, with their skills and overall badassness. Their own allies are afraid of them because they are efficient at what they do. They know everything about everyone, no secret is safe around them. So yeah, they could probably rule more than half the universe if they really wanted to. But they'll get their asses handed to them in any other universe.
Let's say the batfam, and maybe Talia, gets isekaied into Shadow Slave. They wake up in a world where their skills mean jackshit. Their technology short-circuits the moment they try and use it. They also look worse than circus clowns to anyone who sees them. Batman, being who he is, immediately tells them they need to blend in cause standing out in the open like this brought attention to them, and it was humiliating. It doesn't go well for any of them. The money they had doesn't work, and people keep looking at them funny. They at least understood the language, but that was it. Night fell, and still, they're no closer to their small goal than when they started.
Sunny was walking home late one night, his hands carrying the groceries he needed to prepare the perfect dinner. Things have been uneventful lately. Sure, he couldn't go to the Dream Realm for the time being, but he's a Master now. So he'd count that as a semi win. It sucks that he can't fill his shadow core, though. It's when he's close to his house that he sees it. People dressed in the weirdest clothes he's ever seen were arguing right in his path. One very tall man was dressed in dark gray and black, and it looked like he wore his underwear on top of his pants. A man dressed in black and blue. The tall woman dressed for some sort of dance. There was a child, no older than 12, dressed in yellow, green, and black. A man wearing a brown jacket and a red helmet. Another man is wearing red and yellow. A girl in purple. And a ... girl? covered entirely in black. The most normal looking woman had red hair and sat in a wheelchair. She's the only one not dressed up like them. Also, the symbols on the clothes looked weird. All of them carried some sort of weapon, not Memories, so he didn't need to worry that much.
All eyes turn to him, so suddenly, he's startled for split second before he realizes he stopped walking and was currently ogling. Sunny cleared his throat and straightened his back, he'll be damned if some weirdos made him feel shame.
"Sorry."
Without waiting for their response, he started walking past them, trying his best to ignore them. He had other things to worry about, anyway. Sunny saw the katana long before it was drawn, but he let the 12 year old continue to point the blade at his back for the time being and stopped moving. If he acted rash, there might be a fight, and he didn't want to kill a bunch of defenseless Mundanes. He wouldn't even get Shadow Shards, so there was no point. The man in black reacted first.
"Robin."
"We have been scouring this city all day, with no progress to be seen. I followed your instructions for the time being because, yes, gaining attention is not a wise approach. Seeing as your approach didn't work, we are doing my way."
"I agree with Damien. The longer we're here, out in the open, the more difficult it will be to be unnoticed."
That was the tall woman... Okay. The man wearing the red helmet scoffed, waving his guns around.
"Of course, you agree with him. He's your son. I, on the other hand, don't think it's a good idea to threaten a child."
Sunny's eye twitched. A what..?
"Father, I think it would be better to follow my lead."
The weird people started to argue. In all honesty, Sunny could've put all these people on their asses the second that child drew his blade. But he's bored. And these people don't seem to know he's Ascended. Which was odd, but each to their own. The arguing continued for another 14 minutes. In that time, Sunny learned a few things: the child's name is Damien, and the tall woman's name is Talia. He glanced at his gloomy shadow, who just shook its head. Sunny knows his free entertainment needs to come to an end because the police will be patrolling here soon, and he really didn't want that kind of attention on him right now.
Before anyone could even think to react, all of them were sitting on the ground, tied up with shadows. All except for Barbara. The person who did all this was none other than the kid black hair, who couldn't be older than 15, standing in front of them, still holding his groceries. They couldn't move, and no knife that they know of can cut through shadow. Any movement caused the shadow ropes to grow tighter. Bruce hadn't expected to encounter a meta like this. But Damien did try to threaten him, so none of the batfam could blame him. But then the shadows creeped up to their faces and ripped off their masks, and now the bats were panicking. The teen glared at them before directing his attention at Babs.
"You're the only one not dressed like that, so I'm guessing you're more mentally stable than them. Tell your friends not to point their toys at a Master, they might not be so lucky to encounter someone friendly."
Babs couldn't help but laugh. She liked this kid. Not a lot of people could catch the big bat off guard like that. Without giving the boy a chance to leave, she cleared her throat.
"I'll keep that in mind, but that we're on the subject can you tell us where we are, what year it is, and why our technology isn't working?"
If looks could kill, she'd be dead 10 times already, if the way Bruce kept viciously glaring at her. But they were out of options. They couldn't threaten the kid, and they've been reaching a lot of dead-ends. Their money didn't even work here. Bruce knew it was best to try and ask. But they're the bats, obviously simply asking wasn't what they're known for. The kid looked puzzled for several moments before snapping out of it.
"We're in NQSC, or Northern Quadrant Siege Capital, if you want the full name. Uh ... I think it's around the 2200's, and the reason your technology isn't working might be because you were near a gate or you don't use Spelltech."
Everyone's stomach dropped. No one knew what Spelltech was, but that wasn't on their minds right now. Somehow, they ended up several years in the future without the means to go back. Flash was back in the past. They didn't know how long it would take to build a machine to send them back. And from what they gathered, there were no superheroes here. So they were on their own. After several deep breaths, Tim saw the boy's dart somewhere behind them, and he noticed that the boy was starting to get impatient to leave sooner rather than later. Was there something behind them that was dangerous? The others noticed it too, and unfortunately, they couldn't turn around to check. Somehow, Babs convinced the boy to give them shelter, and before they knew it, they were being dragged into a cottage house, not too far away. The place was modest but new, as if he moved in, not too long ago. Before long, they were seated at the table, waiting for the kid to finish preparing dinner. They didn't even know his name. Or where his parents were.
"Stop looking at me like that, Bruce. It worked out, didn't it?"
"What if it didn't work out, Barbara? You can't just do that without a contingency."
"You don't get to boss me around. We have shelter, and soon we'll have food, and we know more now than what we learned this entire day."
Dick interrupted them before the argument could escalate.
"Shut it, both of you. We're in his house."
Dick knew if Babs and Bruce started arguing, they wouldn't get anything done tonight.
When the kid came with the food, everyone kept their mouth shut. Damien wasn't too happy with the meat, but ate everything else. Everyone was hungry after not eating a full day. They ate in silence, not wanting to disturb the peace. After a while, Tim finally gathered enough energy to ask.
"What's your name?"
Tim ignored all the death glares his family was sending him. If they were going to be stuck here for a while, it would be better to be on friendly terms with the guy who can control shadows. The kid who looked no older than 15 looked up from his plate
"Sunless, but everybody calls me Sunny."
"I'm Tim."
Again, Tim ignored his family as they mentally skinned him alive with their eyes. Damien scoffed, and Tim had to bite his tongue so hard he tasted blood. Jason wanted to laugh so bad that he nearly choked on his food. Dick smiled smugly. Stef burst out cackling. Cass only nodded. Talia was internally mocking the boy's mother. Bruce and Barbara were both normal about it.
"You have one unique name there."
"My mother had a poetic heart, you see."
That shut the bat's mouth for the rest of dinner. Everyone introduced themselves after that, although begrudgingly. Sunny lends Tim, his communicator, to search stuff up and buy a few clothes online. He also shows them the basement, where they were free to work out. The fortified basement, that would be hard for Superman to break. One thing leads to another, and the bats end in staying there. Tim and Babs learned as much as they could about this world, and what they found left them horrified.
Australia, North America, and Europe were wiped out.
Kids ranging from 16 to 19 were forced to undergo a sort of trail where they had to do all kinds of crazy things to survive. There was no way to prevent it, and some people even encouraged it (the Legacies). Normal weaponry did jackshit to the Nightmare Creatures. So all their gadgets were useless. Spelltech wasn't even that efficient. As soon as it neared a gate, it short-circuits.
Now, Bruce is terrified for Tim and Damien, even more so after Sunny explained that, yeah, it's mostly 16 - to 19 year olds, but sometimes, if you're unlucky enough it could be younger or older. Also, he realized that Sunny killed before and that he would kill again. When Bruce tries to convince him otherwise, he ends up tied up in the basement for an entire day.
I just think it'll be funny to see how the batfam would endure the world of Shadow Slave with all their sanity intact. Maybe I'll write a fic about it, or someone else can. Seeing the batfam in a world way out of their league would be a satisfying fic to me. I love them, I do. But almost all of them are grown adults still hung up on childish problems. And watching them realize their problems are unnecessary in most situations would make my day.
Edit: Please, someone get the vision and write a fic about it.
