Something I really like is giants within water. To me it's something about them being able to be submerged and still head level to a tiny and also concealing their true height in a way. The imposing look as a giant emerges from the water as they grow out of it to look down at a tiny or making themselves more friendly looking and less imposing by submerging partially back under the water to shrink themselves (from the tiny's POV) and be closer to the human's level. Or maybe the giant uses it as concealment because they're afraid of being seen or shy.

trying to explain why i like giants so much and it’s about the anxiety of taking up space, navigating systems that werent designed for you, feeling aware of how visibly different you are from others, being constantly terrified of doing or saying something wrong that will make people wary of you, and it’s like damn its the being trans and autistic again huh.
