I often find myself pondering how Barry knew that Magnus would recognize Thieves' Cant in Wonderland. Did Barry do a little possessing to spy on Magnus and Carey's rogue training? If he did, then who was the unlucky possession victim, given that Pringles was already thrown in the brig at that point? Or did Magnus learn Thieves' Cant originally during the Stolen Century, possibly even alongside Barry back then? In that case, did Carey notice that Magnus was picking up Thieves' Cant really quickly on Faerun, except for maybe thirty percent of symbols that he just kept getting wrong (always by inventing a new symbol that Carey had never seen before in her life) because Faerun Thieves' Cant was different than what he was used to? Or did Barry just not know that Magnus would know Thieves' Cant, and was he willing to try every method of covert communication he could think of until one finally worked, just being kind of delighted and amazed when the one that worked was actually the first one? The possibilities are delightful and endless.

Something about taako's famous monologue including "i have a beating heart!" and lup's speech on the best day ever having "taako, you Are my heart. You know that right?" Is making me fully ugly sob. We know it goes both ways, is the thing. He's her heart, and she's his, and this sad empty version of taako that has forgotten is declaring that he has a beating heart while she is simultaneously missing and dead and also Right There at his side, so he's completely right and completely wrong and he doesn't KNOW
