malik-fall-outâ:
He rolled himself onto his stomach thinking the question over. âGold⌠maybe black, hmâ not something he though too hard about.
He shook his head running his hands through the bangs, the bun was starting to pins and needles across his scalp. Some strands of hair escaped the confines and were sticking up. He got himself up to his feet.
He hummed. âIts easier to hunt you down. Technology is hard.â He in theory knew how his phone worked, but he didnât really like it, and he didnât know how to delete messages.
When Karim stands, thereâs a second of near-surprise. There isnât a huge height difference between them - Ryou and Marik have always been of similar stature - but the bun and extra bits sticking out, the way he carries himself, make it feel greater than it is.Â
âI can show you if necessary, but⌠that works for now. Sure.âÂ
Ryou hadnât exactly expected the otherâs stance on tech to be the same as that of an old man, but he supposes he shouldâve. Being dormant for so long has likely made exposure to this kind of thing very limited.
He chuckles quietly, mostly to himself, and pads over to the entryway.
âIâd say âbe careful getting homeâ, but I donât think thatâll be a problem for you.â Another smile as he opens the door and steps to the side. âSo, um⌠Iâll see you when I see you, I guess?â
He offered the other a bit of a smirk. He almost hated to go. "Be careful staying home?" He said back, that didn't quite feel right as a response to the other. But he stuck to it.
He glanced at the other as he stepped through the threshold, burning the memory into his mind.
He nodded. "I'll find a way to stay in touch, if you want."
He gave one more smile
