Human wakes up confused in space, having been in stasis on their ship/escape pod. Human goes exploring just outside wherever they are, surrounding halls that may or may not be familiar.

While walking the encounter an unfamiliar robot, it seems friendly and very curious. Human talks to robot while exploring and trying to figure out basic communications.

Eventually the robot communicates that it is actually a remote piloted interface vessel or whatever the fuck. The being controlling it is a giant alien that found the human’s ship floating lost in space like an exhausted hummingbird in a body of water, rescued by a strange, kind fellow traveler.

Even knowing all this, human is terribly overwhelmed meeting giant alien ‘face to face’ likely w human being in a safe environment ball like a hamster. Maybe human’s ship/escape pod is damaged/incapable of traveling around space, and giant alien welcomes human to make themself at home in their ship using the ball and a safe environment enclosure/terrarium. Human gets to see way more of space than humankind has encountered previously.
