beetlejuice’s coat and suit are covered in stitching in multiple colors, mostly purple and green, so he’s definitely fixed them numerous times

charles’ first few suits are SUPER sparkly and glittery

lydia’s yellow dress has this beautiful gold lace overlay, it looked like acanthus leaves

delia’s vape in charles’ bedroom scene is absolutely a juul

the suits that maxie dean’s lawyers wear are a patchwork of different types and sizes of pinstripe

the pants on the suit bj wears during the game show are like. nearly bell bottoms???

the dress lydia wears changes when she’s in the netherworld, its black lace over white fabric

lydia’s wedding dress is made of mostly patterned solid fabrics, it looks like a quilt almost

he does a lot of accents during his speaking parts, i guess to make up for it not being ~the voice~

at some points while he’s singing he almost sounds british to the point where i was going to look up if will was british

he’s a lot taller than alex, so on the roof when beej makes another arm to wipe away his tears the puppet arm comes nowhere near close to will’s face, he bent down and it still didnt reach

his bj almost seems like a stereotypical flamboyant gay versus alex’s being just like a gross gremlin

his faux sinatra voice during the whole being dead thing is more great american songbook-y than sinatra-y

he gets as equally sweaty as alex

And as much as I love the tangent from Delia in the final version, the DC version really let you have it emotionally. Lydia's outburst and Delia's response carried so much more emotional weight in just a few words.

Delia's worldview and attempts to get Lydia to embrace a rather blindly optimistic attitude actually do more harm than good here, since it's trivializing Lydia's emotions and need to properly mourn. And while Delia's not quite equipped to help Lydia grieve, she's never presented to be malicious or callous.
