Welcome To The Swamp 🏳️‍🌈

Momo would be so desperate about it. As soon as Dahyun tells her she's going back to heaven, with a smile on her face of all things, Momo is on her knees, begging and pleading and blubbering for her to stay.

She'll fall apart without her, she can't do this alone, she needs her. But Dahyun isn't listening, she just keeps telling her how proud she is of the progress she's made and how she's ready to take things on on her own now but she's wrong.

And before Momo really even thinks about it she has Dahyun pinned underneath her, pristine white wings flapping frantically, batting against her.

She realizes what she's done when Dahyun starts to scream, looks through tear filled eyes at the odd angle the angel's wing was bent in. But she doesn't stop, just takes a firmer grip on the feathers under her hand and starts to pull.

She feels delicate bones break in her hand, feels tendons snap and muscle give but she doesn't stop, not until Dahyun was left with a bloody little stump, twitching and trembling as though still trying to fly with what little broken and bloodied feathers she had left.

She pleads for mercy as Momo presses a soft gentle kiss between her shoulder blades.

“I’m sorry”

Momo wraps her hand around Dahyun's other wing.

Jihyo would be more methodical.

She's distraught when Dahyun tells her and tries to convince her to stay but it's futile.

Dahyun tells her she's strong and that she would thrive without her and Jihyo's loved hearing these things for the past year, always soaked in the praise Dahyun would give so earnestly, but it's not what she wants to hear now. She just wanted Dahyun to say she would stay.

Dahyun agrees to have one last dinner with her before she leaves.

She doesn't suspect Jihyo of drugging her food even when the room starts to spin and she can barely hold up her head. Jihyo catches her before she can face plant right into her soup, cradling Dahyun in her arms so gently.

Realization only dawns when she sees the displeased look on Jihyo's face, frustration rather than concern clear on her features. But there's nothing she can do, she feels like she's underwater and her limbs like concrete.

Jihyo let's out a heavy sigh and Dahyun can barely focus enough to notice the small baggy she'd pulled out of her pocket. There are fingers in her mouth, prying it open and all she can do is drool down her chin.

"I'm sorry, 3 tabs should have been more than enough. I didn't want it to be like this, I didn't want you to be scared" Jihyo says, voice so soft even as she pushes a pill far enough down Dahyun's throat to make her gag.

"It'll be over quickly though, I promise" Jihyo says, pressing a kiss to her forehead. She doesn't even have time to question what Jihyo is talking about before her vision goes black.

They would both take it pretty seriously, not enough to cause any real anger but the loser is just a teensy bit miffed. Any hard feels are easily put to rest with a long night of pampering from their mates.
