If you are nonbinary and on estrogen, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and on testosterone, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and not on any HRT, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and seeking affirmative surgery, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and don't want surgery, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and are both a man and a woman, or a man but nonbinary, or a woman but nonbinary, or any combination thereof, I love you.
If you're nonbinary and want nothing to do with any "man" or "woman" aligned gender, I love you.
If you don't have a gender, I love you.
If you have a million genders, infinite genders, an unknowable amount of gender, I love you.
If you are nonbinary and intersex, I love you.
If you aren't sure where you fit in to the vast spectrum of gender at all, I love you.
I love all nonbinary people forever and ever. May we all grow old together.
I know people mean well when they try to argue against arophobes with the argument of "We don't feel romantic attraction, but aros can still love their friends and family!" Or argue that "Aces can still feel romantic love and want relationships!" as a response to acephobes.
But please don't. It's technically correct, but also a terrible response in that situation. Judging a person's worth by their capacity to love, in any type of way, is dehumanizing. Not everyone feels love, or even strong emotions in general, and it doesn't make them a bad person. Same as feeling love doesn't automatically make one a good person.
Tl,dr: We shouldn't try to prove our worth by arguing how "normal" or how similar to allos we are
enby egg listen to me you must learn the difference between āthis doesnāt make me upsetā and āthis makes me happy.ā you must find the things that actually fit you instead of the things that donāt hurt to put on.

Reminder that nonverbal means you do not verbally speak ever, while verbal shutdown means you have periods of time/episodes where you don't speak verbally.
Don't say you're "going nonverbal", say you're having a verbal shutdown. Nonverbals do not like their language being misused to treat nonverbality as a temporary thing.
(This is not a judgemental post to anyone who has misused the term in the past. It's a common mistake. Just please take this information in stride for the future.)

So I was thinking of joining this until I read the directions...
WDYM the whole point is to Blackwash white characters and be as racist towards white people as possible?! TF is wrong with you??? I thought you agreed that changing the race of characters is bad regardless of what race they are?!?! Like to "correct" ones that are meant to be Black makes sense, but to take white characters and make them "be Black once you're done with them" is just plain racism. Changing a character's race is racist. Sorry, I don't make the rules, that's just how it works.
Next time, just come out and say you're anti-white, coward. And before you call me a coward for using anon... So sorry I don't want to be harassed for simply speaking up against ALL forms of racism against ANY / ALL races, instead of just one.
Melanin Beam Challenge 2026!
Check out this link for updates to this year's run! I'm geeked to see what we'll create together this year ā¤ļø
And a lesson on whitewashing and why it's an actual problem, as well
Please share if possible to raise awareness. Sorry if this is off topic. There is currently extremely deadly flooding in West Africa.
This is in part due to climate change messing up the balance of the dry and rainy seasons. The floods have a ripple effect and are also causing landslides and other disasters.
People have died, and will continue to do so. Here are some news Articles: The Guardian RFI The Sun Nigeria PM News Nigeria Here are some charities you can donate to to help: Nigeria: The Borgen Project Ghana: NADMO CƓte d'ivoire: Disaster Relief
Togo and Benin are also severely affected. Please consider donating if youāre able or helping spread the word. I have a slightly longer post on my blog that I'll be updating if anyone needs more information.
Thank you for sharing! If you wanted to donate to a cause, consider one of these!
I didnāt know Jack was white at first thatās so scary why would you do that to him. Iām happy he recovered
Back when I was first working on Beanstalked, I was in highschool, Blacktober wasn't even a thing yet, and many of my OCs weren't even Black yet. It took me a long time before I found other Black creators and became more comfortable telling Black stories without holding back.
Anyways here's an updated timeline of Jack getting blasted with the Black beam.
Shout out to that one tumblr post that was like: "You know it's not just trans people who ponder their gender, it's healthy for cis people to take a look inside and be like! Yep that's all good!" And I read this post and was like.... like what do you look at inside though T O T??? I asked my boyfriend how he knew he was a boy and he said he just felt this unexplainable intrinsic feeling he was a boy... and I'm like... I HAVE GENUINELY NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT WTF ššš!!!!!!!! So apparently its like. Normal for people to feel this inexplicable 'Gender' feeling or whatever,,, I feel like how asexual people feel when they discover people around them aren't making up the fact they experience sexual arousal T O T
Obviously all my sciency stuff is just speculation! But I'm the type of person who believe that everything has a rationale behind it, and like an adopted child who is curious about their biological parents, I am just interested in my origins! The field of genetics still is mostly just like,,,, hmmm we think this whatever MIGHT be a contributing factor to a person turning out this way... maybe. If you are more interested in the topic I discussed, just look up 'epigenetics' and there should be some more stuff OuO!
I'd love to hear how this 'inexplicable gender feeling' feels to gendered individuals! For those willing to share, I'd love to listen!

hi, i was wondering if you had any advice on writing Black characters in fantasy? like mistakes people often make or things that you'd like to see but don't. thank you for all the information on your blog!
Almost all of my lessons still apply so read them šš¾
READ FANTASY BY BLACK WRITERS
Just because race and racism isn't real inside your narrative doesn't mean it isn't real in the eyes of your viewers, that still exist in the real world
So yes you still have to be aware of stereotypes when writing, yes even when the characters are coded
If you describe your characters well enough we'll know they're Black even if you don't say "Black", same way you never have to say someone is "White" and no one is ever confused
Especially if you give them culturally specific names or clothes (respectfully!)
Fantasy racism allegories are a bullshit idea unless you're willing to commit to what racism really IS, otherwise let it go and write something else
If fantasy magic applies to your white characters and their customization (hair, clothes, hygiene) then it applies to your Black ones as well
Please give Black characters something other than straight or wavy hair I'm tired of visible wigs on Black people in these fantasy shows
If you can find infinite ways to describe white people in flowery ways, you can too with Black people (that don't have to be chocolate related)
Fantasy doesn't have to mean Eurocentric!! Other people and cultures exist!
can you imagine how good shows would be if writers thought of women as human beings
