i have to say. i am SO excited for the day we get to witness the deltarune finale. once we finally have answers. but im also dreading it

all the theorising and discussions and anticipation has been so so so fun. its been such a constant over the last few years and itll be SO weird once the answers are actually uncovered.

like what will i do with myself once i wont have any more theories to post?? no more symbolism to try to tear apart in a desperate attempt for information? I WILL KNOW THE ANSWERS. NO MORE WONDERING. SCARY.

its going to be so bittersweet but its also so exciting thinking about the fact we'll be able to look back and see what we were right about, what we were wrong about, the things toby definitely mislead us on on purpose.

after 4 chapters of people going "the dark worlds are escapism!!!" over everything toby and the team went "you want dark worlds as escapism I'll fucking show you dark worlds as escapism"

#yeah this has always bothered me #like there are definitely those themes present but i don’t think the dark worlds are meant to just be escapism and meant to be a bad thing #Ralsei’s whole arc is that HE believes that #and that he believes he has no interiority/moral worth because of that #and now the narrative is teaching him that no this is not the case #you are as much a person as anyone else #a lot of people interpeted the susie entering the closet dark world for the night and calling it home as being sad and escapist but i think #it’s the very opposite it’s the one real home and reliable friends she’s had. she’s very active #not passive in that scene #which i think backs this up
