Happy to report that I landed in Tokyo today and almost immediately saw a woman on the Yamanote Line reading the chapter of Golden Kamuy where Nikaido gets the prosthetic leg gun.

I cannot believe that in the absolutely cursed year 2020 we get the news that there’s more Hetalia coming. I was in college during the peak Hetalia years. One semester I took a 7-10 PM seminar that was the only class meeting in the building at that time. During class one night we heard shrieking and screaming down the hall so my professor and some classmates went to investigate during the break. Turns out it was a bunch of Hetalia cosplayers hosting a “world summit” which I guess mostly consisted of a photoshoot, displaying shippy fan art on the smart board, and blasting Hetalia music at full volume.
