I thought I was very unpopular because I never got asks…until itssimplysam23 made me realize that my ask box wasn’t on.

Then when I was 30, a 3rd party arranged a reunion with my birth family: I found out I had 4 brothers and a sister. After that, I always stayed in contact with my other family. My husband is Tamil and we now have children and grand-children. But my Chinese family always join us for celebrations - like Deepavali. And we also join them. We have stayed close.”

Shoutout to all the biracial people who have to “pick a race”. Shoutout to biracial people who’s heritage is invalid because of the colour of their skin. Shout out to the biracial people who feel comfortable nowhere, those who don’t look like either of their families, to those ignored completely. You all need more love.
