This is broadly good advice, but I actually disagree with #3.
What people write and what they like to read may have less overlap than you would think. I frequently find, looking into the bookmarks of an author I like, that their taste covers another area entirely.
No, what you want to look for are the favorites/bookmarks of other readers of this author's fic. Especially if you can find regular commenters.
Your best shot, in my experience, is to check near the top of the fic, under the header, and see if anyone else has added this fic to a collection. That's when you've hit the jackpot, because you have found a fan who likes to curate bookmarks, and they like the same things you like.
Everyday I wake up and think about FDR’s second bill of rights
honestly tv is really dead. I’m tired of streaming services making those 8 episodes shows that never get the chance to have more seasons after making the audience invested in the characters and also making the cast and creators uncertain and anxious about getting the chance to go back to another season. I miss when we had actual shows with multiple seasons in production from the start to keep the interest going, this format of not quite a show but also not a limited series fucking sucks and I feel so bad for everyone that works for these streamings

The Wall.
“Oh, sorry,” he said, and then he stopped and realised that he had just apologised to a wall. He chuckled to himself and he shook his head, saying “Sorry,” once again to the wall before he just moved away from it.
He crouched down and he heaved the sofa against it.
“Okay,” he said, as he looked around. He put his hands on his hips and then began to hook up the television and then realise he probably should have put the television against the wall and not the sofa. “But if I put the sofa there, then I lose the spaciousness, and if I leave the tv where it is, Henry will most definietly knock it over.”
Henry looked over at Magnus, with a look that said that he was excited for the television to be somewhere he could attack and break. Magnus sighed as he stood there, looking at the mess of his apartment.
He had just moved to the town, a short-term transfer for him so that he could help with a case here. The police men didn’t really have detectives and the one they had here was Kurt’s colleague and perhaps not as up to date with technologies. So, Magnus was here temporarily. And he could not figure out where to put his sofa.
But then his phone began to ring and he sighed as he picked it up. He looked at the time and he realised that he had lost the entire afternoon deciding where his sofa should be.
“Hello?” he said. “Yeah, I’ll be right there.”
He headed to the kitchen and he got some food out for Henry as he hung up the phone.
“Okay, walk when I get back, okay?”
And he headed out the door.
@rebeckalindahl
He didn’t say anything, he just looked down at her with the smile of a man that was highly smitten with the woman in front of him. He bit his lip slightly as he whispered.
“I didn’t want you to come over,” he said, looking at her. “We shouldn’t be alone together with your parents next door.”
He looked at her, really looked at her. Because he wanted to keep kissing her and not have her parents worry about what was taking her so long with the dishes. He wanted to hold her and make her moan, he wanted to make out with her without anyone else hearing them.
“How about after your parents leave?” he asked her. “Will you come over?”
I love it when Magnus takes the lead, whew!
Thanks to the universe you are still writing this ship, always good! And I check everyday.

I’m sorry I’ve never heard this name before now. I wish everyone could know this man.
American government sanctioned murder. My heart breaks and I am sickened that the law got away with it.
Are you part of Loki's Resistance and don't know it yet?
Basically, this as-yet-tentatively named subset of the Loki fandom or “Loki’s Army” consists of anyone who finds themselves agreeing with one or more of the following points:
Loki’s crimes are not so much worse than those of his brother or father, as regarded as worse because Loki did it;
Both the universe and the meta (writers etc.) are showing blatant favoritism with Loki’s “punishment” compared to similar crimes committed by others;
The punishment in question (a literal lifetime thousands of years long spent in solitary confinement, furniture and books considered “luxuries”) is inhumane by ANY standards, beyond even what we do here, and undeserved even if one does take the position that Loki’s a total monster;
Loki has some legitimate points, and legitimate reasons for being upset, that even his family don’t seem to accept - again, probably because of who they come from;
What Loki needs is rehabilitation, not punishment, OR at least should be offered both instead of being given absolutely zero hope of ever seeing the sky again;
Loki at least deserves a GODDAMN TRIAL in universe;
Loki has been abused meta-wise by writers and directors who have ignored his previous characterization entirely to conform him to a role he is utterly wasted on;
Thor has been abused meta-wise by writers and directors who think it’s time for “something new and fresh” and are willing therefore to scrap one of his most enduring and iconic character traits (not giving up on his brother); OR…
Odin is a dick and has no business sentencing anyone, anywhere, ever, having eluded justice for so long himself.
Note that I said “one or more’; you don’t have to agree with all of these points to be one of Loki’s advocates. But if you do agree with any of these, or have had some of these thoughts yourself, and ESPECIALLY if you agree but have been afraid to say so, thinking it makes you an apologist and/or that people will consider you one of those silly, wimpy fangirls who just “doesn’t understand” the character… then honey, welcome to the Resistance.

This and much more, actually
Proud member of Loki’s Resistance.
Wholeheartedly agree with all o the abovementioned points.

What’s Mine Is Yours
Magnus came back into the house and he headed upstairs to grab his towel and step into the shower. Though he had been sleeping in the guest room, since Ansgar had arrived, he had been in his normal room, the one he had shared with Rebecka last night.
So when he stepped into the room he had the passing thought that he should go into the other bathroom but he had assumed that Rebecka had already had a bath, it had been a very long time that he had taken Henry out.
He was not expecting to see her in the bath when he stepped into the bathroom.
‘Shit! Sorry,’ he said as he turned his back to her. ‘Sorry, I thought you were done. I’ll… I’ll go to the other one, sorry.’
And he shut the door, but the image of her remained.
Rebecka had been laying back in the bath, enjoying the hot water. She had one of her earbuds in and she didn’t hear Magnus come into the bedroom. But she heard him come into the bathroom.
She instinctively moved to cover herself, the water in the tub sloshing slightly on the floor.
“Oh!” was all she could say as she reached for a towel. But the damage had been done. He had to have seen her laying languidly in the tub, her whole naked body covered in clear water.
“No, it’s…fine,” she said but he had closed the door.
Rebecka took a deep breath and she washed up and then got out of the bath. It wasn’t that big of a deal, she thought to herself, at least she told herself. But she stayed in the room for a long time after she got dressed. She made the bed, she did some work. She avoided going downstairs.
He had seen her completely naked and it was her fault. She should have closed the door… but she couldn’t help but smile remembering the look on his face, the slight blush on his cheeks. He had held her and kissed her last night, and now he knew what she looked like under those frumpy pajamas.
That had to be a good thing…
Magnus didn’t know why he felt so shy about it. He had seen her in the lake, he’d seen her with his shirt clinging onto her before. And it wasn’t as if he hadn’t seen a woman’s body before, far from it. But he supposed it was still new between them. He didn’t want to ruin everything because things were going so well.
He finished dressing and he headed back to the bedroom, he paused when he saw her there and he went to grab his phone. It had died from not being charged and he put it in to charge, he guessed that he wouldn’t see her photographs until later.
He didn’t say anything to Rebecka, other than explaining that his phone was charging and that he’d be downstairs.
Why did it have to be awkward again?
Rebecka smiled over at him and then she watched him leave. he wasn’t looking at her. She sighed and dove into her work.
In an hour she went downstairs and she looked for him. She wasn’t going to let things be weird between them.
“Hej, thank you for breakfast. It was delicious.”
She didn’t ask him if he saw the photograph’s on his phone.
“Do you want to go to the market together or I can go by myself, if your foot is hurting you,” she said as she looked down at his foot.
‘My foot is…’ he looked down, ‘It’s actually been pretty okay. But I want to get started on some of the food and I bought all the ingredients yesterday anyway so I don’t need to go out.’
He looked at her.
‘It’s just the champagne that is needed, but don’t invite anyone to the party.’ He said to her, with a small smile. ‘It’s just the two of us, right?’
He wanted it to be just the two of them.
A smile spread across Rebecka’s face. Who would she invite? She didn’t really know anyone in town except Kristian, and she certainly wasn’t going to invite him! But there was something so sweet about the way he said it.
“Just the two of us, it’s a date,” she said through a large smile.
Rebecka wanted to walk to him and hug him and press her lips to his…but she stopped herself. There would be time for that later…and it was still very soon after he had seen her completely naked and she wasn’t sure she would want to stop kissing him if she started now.
And he had cooking to do.
“Okay then, I’ll let you… Um… just the two of us,” she mumbled as she looked away from him, her words clearly confessing what she was thinking about.
Rebecka looked up and smiled at him and then she was grabbing her purse and heading out the door to go to the market and buy champagne and some dessert for them.
There was Black Forest Cake, and so she bought that, knowing he liked it. She smiled as she picked it up and put it in her basket, unaware that she was being watched. She was thinking about Magnus, and so she didn’t feel the eyes on her.
Dun dun dun,,,,, Who is going to stir the pot? Lots going on in this post, love it all. Thank you for all the great reading. I Surely enjoy your Magnus and Rebecka in all the different stories, what a treat!
