Her biggest point of contention would be when her instinct to be a "nice person" clashes with the honesty of the relationship. She might say "I'm fine" or "nothing's wrong" when she's actually deeply hurt or exhausted, just to avoid "being a burden." You'd need a lot of patience to distinguish between what she says to keep the peace and what she truly feels.

Her deepest paranoia, confessed to Kinger, is that people hate her and will eventually leave her. A misunderstanding or argument could trigger an anxiety attack where she fears you're going to abandon her. Reassuring her with clear words and actions would be crucial.

Although she doesn't remember her human life, the emotional wounds persist. She might have inexplicable reactions of sadness or withdrawal in certain situations (a tone of voice, a dynamic with another character) that hark back to her trauma, without being able to explain why.

In public, Ragatha would try to maintain her role as mediator and caretaker of the group, but now with unspoken support by her side. Sometimes, when Jax particularly provokes her, your supportive gaze would be the anchor that prevents her smile from completely breaking. Over time, she might learn to delegate to you, asking you to talk to Gangle or distract Jax when she's at her wit's end.

With Jax: He would be the biggest nuisance. His teasing would shift from bothering just her to bothering "the doll couple." He would try to sow seeds of doubt ("Are you sure he's not with you just out of pity, Ragatha?") or make fun of their tender moments. Ironically, this constant attention from Jax would be a true test of the strength of their bond.

With Pomni and Gangle: They would become a kind of safe haven. Ragatha would invite you to join her when she tried to comfort Pomni or cheer up Gangle, forming a small circle of support. You'd see her most genuinely protective side shine through with them.

With Kinger: He would be the only one who, in his paranoia, understood everything. He would give you enigmatic "advice" on how to protect "the Doll of Broken Threads" or warn you of "the dangers of social cohesion in confined spaces." Even though he's unhinged, Ragatha would appreciate that Kinger sees and accepts her vulnerabilities.

Whenever you (or she) emerged bruised from an adventure, the act of sewing a new patch would become an intimate ritual. It wouldn't just be repairing the digital body, but a metaphor for caring for each other. She would keep the scraps of fabric from your previous "wounds" like a treasure.

Sometimes, in the middle of the digital night, she would wake with a start, clutching her blue dress. She wouldn't remember the dream, only an overwhelming sense of panic and emptiness. Your presence would be the only thing that calmed her, allowing her to drift back to a peaceful sleep, clinging to your arm.

Her greatest inner conflict would be loving the routine she has with you (because it's precious and safe) while feeling that, by settling, she's betraying her desire to escape. Does being happy with you in the circus mean resigning herself to being trapped forever? This dilemma could cause her bouts of guilt.

You let out a long sigh. Ragatha visibly deflated and took a small step back.

She waved her hands, almost frantically. “Or if you wanna be left alone, I understand!”

Your voice came out panicked. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it like that!”

“I just…” You pressed your lips together.

Ragatha stepped closer to you, mouth in a thin line. Her eyebrows pulled inwards, her eye gazing into yours.

You gestured vaguely to the checkered floorboards below the balcony.

“I keep thinking about… my life before the circus. Granted, I haven’t been here very long.”

You raised your head, pressing your thumb into the web of your hand.

Your throat felt tight. “I wonder if anyone even noticed I’m gone. And the more I think about it…”

Cruel thoughts entered your mind. Would anyone care if you were gone? Did you make enough of an impact on others for them to notice your absence?

You sucked in a deep breath.

“I don’t think I have anyone close enough to me to worry about me." Your voice cracked. "I can’t remember any meaningful relationships I’ve made with anyone.”

Tears formed behind your eyes, rolling down your cheeks. You pushed your fists against your eyes.

Ragatha grabbed your wrist and your eyes sprung open. You turned towards her.

She pressed her free hand to her chest. “I get how you feel, believe me, I do.”

Ragatha's voice softened. “But you matter here. You matter to me and to the others.”

You hiccuped, eyes disbelieving. “But that’s only based on circumstances.”

Ragatha shook her head. “If there were a way to get out of the circus, I’d do everything in my power to find you.”

She gave you a small smile. “And I’m sure if we met before this, I’d be your friend.”

She sounded so certain, like nothing could dispute her words from facts.

Emotions overwhelmed you like you were in a water current.

Hard sobs clutched at your ribs, and your breath came out quick. Ragatha pulled you into a side hug. You pressed your forehead between her neck and shoulder.

Her arms wrapped around your middle, rubbing the center of your back. You'd feel guilty dirtying Ragatha’s dress later, but you didn’t have the energy to worry about the intricacies.

He should be glitching in some way or form as he stares across from you in his office, his voice stuck repeating the same word over and over and over- Body uncontrollably phrasing and posing. Or experiencing that infuriating blue screen error message, but he doesn’t glitch at the compliment. Because he fights the urge away. Ignores how overwhelmed he is by experiencing strong emotions; the happiness of connecting with someone, the vulnerability of being seen, and the relief of not being lonely ever again.

He chose to stay in the moment, to study you and your kindness. To burn it into his files and relive the memory forever. "Why would that make you cry?" his tone is soft. Missing that edge of vibrant performance energy he would have when being 'ringleader'. He already understands the ‘why’ as he sits beside you, equally in disbelief of how the person in front could be real. But wants to confirm it, wants the new data you'll share be absorb into him and stay with him.

ﾟ.+:｡Bubble ★ Surprise

Bubble doesn’t skip a beat after hearing your sarcastic words, continuing with jokes and teasing as if you two have been friends for years. “Heh, you know it, babe.” Bubble chuckles.

He catches you off guard by the pet name, and in your moment of distraction, he sticks his tongue out and licks your face. Letting a thick coat of saliva drip over you, that it feels like slime. During your groan of disgust, Bubble lets out a thoughtful hum, as if savor the taste before letting out a satisfied; “Yummy!”

“Ugh, I take it back. You’re the devil.” You whine, doing your best to cup the saliva and push it off your face. It sticks to your hand and slowly drips to the floor. “Ew, I’m going to wash this off. Bye, Bubble!” You bide farewell as you walk off, and Bubble’s action to get you to leave works like a charm.

He uses this time, watching your figure disappear, to carefully reflect on your words. He used to never care about the humans. Why should he? They never acknowledged him and were only there because of Caine. You were the only one to see him- to talk to him. Bubble figures, he’ll use the attention, the same way as he does with Caine’s, to fill in the time as he waits.

As Bubble remains in his floating spot in the circus, he wonders why that compliment held more weight. Why it make him feel funny, an emotion he hasn’t experienced before nor able to name.

Then suddenly, Bubble pops away, out of the circus, as he recognises, for the first time, that it’s because you have become important to him.

ﾟ.+:｡Gangle ★ Calm

Her eyes widen in surprise when she hears the compliment, touched by the sweetness and thoughtfulness of the words. But Gangle isn’t blown away or believes it, she’s able to brush it off as she sees your smile and relax postion on your bed. Able to recognise the light atmosphere and joking mood you appear to be in.

“I think you’re so nice that-that I could cr-cry.” Gangle repeats the joke back, her tone confident at first as she’s reminded of home. Of memories from easier times with friends who spit back dumb jokes and throw references.

But stutters near the end as she loses it, noticing your cartoon body. Remembering the circus and the bad experiences she faced since those days. Fearing she’s reading into this wrong. That she picked the wrong dialogue option, fearful of any harsh comment you’ll throw.

“Aw, Gangle! You’re the nicest!” Your smile widens as you reach out to hug her, and that fear is washed away in seconds as her giggles join yours.

“No, you’re the nicest.” Gangle tease back, falling into a childish back and forth with you. Able to breathe and relax in the comfort of your arms. Able to let go of her fears, troubles of the circus, and simply be herself around you.

ﾟ.+:｡Jax ★ Denial

Something shifts in Jax the moment the words leave your mouth. A warmth at the compliment, of being seen as something worthy to be shed tears over. The beginning signs of a deeper connection tying you together after many days of joking and hanging around. It gives him comfort and lets him lower his guard to snort at your tease.

Just as quickly, something ugly overpowers those feelings. Replace the solace with a sinking feeling of panic in the realisation of how close you have gotten to him. Of how easy it is to simply be him around you. His fear flares up and takes shape with the sole purpose of protecting himself from repeating the same mistakes. To push away the vulnerability, of you being able to see through him- he isn’t ready to accept or face it, so his body reacts first.

"Yeah?" Jax scoffs. It's harsh-sounding. Just as harsh as the push he gives you that sends you off the couch.

"Hey!" you whine at the action, bringing a hand to rub your sore butt.

"Cry over that!" Jax chuckles, masking the discomfort you cause by falling into establish routine of being the ‘funny one’. Ignoring the sick twist in his gut- the guilt for his own actions. Sparing a glance at his hand to tune out your grumbles. It was all a joke, he reassured himself; you didn't mean it. You don’t know him.

ﾟ.+:｡Kinger ★ Worry

It doesn’t matter if you said it in the dark or the light, or what tone you used to say it; in the current context of sitting in the pillow fort, it would be ‘teasing’. Because the moment Kinger registered the words 'cry', he took it as a form of admission, and something clicks in him.

Reflexes kicks in to reach you -quickly yet gently-, as a need engraved into his very being shouts to care for you. His usually dull awareness becomes sharp as they tune to you. Because no matter the lightning, Kinger would always become protective of your well-being.

"Cry? No, love bug," His eyes widen in surprise as he softly coos. Voice gently and low to soothe any anxiety you could be experiencing. "No tears, alright? Everything's okay." His hands are cradling your face, thumbs brushing your cheeks to wipe away tears that haven't been shed. The need to care for you, to keep you safe, makes him blind to the compliment.

It takes your laughter to ground him. It wakes him up, lets him realise there is no wetness under his thumbs. Only you and your smile, as you laugh at him. "Hey, don't tease an old man like that!" he jokes, fondly rolling his eyes. It makes you laugh harder. He doesn’t mind being the butt of the joke, even letting a small laugh himself as he feels contentment that you’re alright, as he keeps you in his hands.

ﾟ.+:｡Pomni ★ Resolve

Pomni let out a weak chuckle when she hears the compliment. A part of her is ready to fumble and brush the compliment off, until she registers your tone as her brows furrow in concern. You meant it as a joke, considering the conversation started by poking light fun at the latest adventure, but your delivery falls flat. Your smile drops to a smaller grin, while you stare at her with a kind of reverence. Refusing to blink as if she’ll disappear in the few seconds that action takes.  

From what Pomni has experienced so far, everyone in the circus is kind. Well, besides the obvious expectation. She doesn't see her actions as anything 'crying' worthy or the level to joke about it. She’s still new and only recently gotten used to the circus because of the others. Because of you.

Pomni reflects on the sense of community she felt during her short time and compares it to yours, someone who’s been here longer. Maybe you don’t feel that sense of belonging, and that thought leads Pomni to conclude that you're struggling in some way. That your compliment, while kind, is you seeking comfort from her.

She should feel awkward to be put on the spot like this. Confused on why you seek her help over everyone elses. Instead, she steels herself and wants to return that sense of ease. To be your pillar of strength within the circus.

"I think you're kind too," she smiles warmly at you.

ﾟ.+:｡Ragatha ★ Comfort

Her breath hitches as her whole world narrows down and locks onto the sight of you, and only you. You said it with a sheepish smile, trying to play it off with an embarrassed giggle, but the way you kept avoiding her eyes. Slowly trying to close in on yourself with your shoulders, but forcing yourself to stay near screams; you mean it. You believe it wholeheartedly. With every fiber of your soul.

You think she's nice.

You looked at her forced smile. You listen to her nervous ramblings. Endure her fake positivity that pushes everyone away, despite the opposite intention. You stared at her most ugly, most awful parts that she tries so hard to bury away and choose to stay. Choose to show her mercy with compliments.

Tears swell in her eye at the emotional punch you deliver, and for once, in a space where she feels the safest, with the person she can trust- Ragatha believes the compliment. Let it wash over her, soothing her fractured soul and frightened spirit. “Really? You-” she stumbles over her words as her lower lip trembles, “you think I’m nice?”

“Yeah.” You nod, and it’s all it takes for her to latch onto you. Pulling you into a tight hug as she presses her face into your shoulder.

ﾟ.+:｡Zooble ★ Flustered

Their mismatched pupils dart away from your teasing smile, a mix of embarrassment coming from the compliment and an unease about how to take the comment.

They try to be considerate of others, but Zooble is fully aware that they mainly stick to themselves. Running away from adventures and subsequently ditching the others. After all, they only recently took action to help Gangle out.

They don't think they've done enough to earn them the title of 'kind'. But at the same time, they wouldn't argue against it. If someone does need help, or ask them directly for it. They’ll help out. Yet acknowledging that makes them feel egotistic. Their mind goes back and forth over the words. It’s a sweet compliment! They shouldn’t be thinking this deeply about it!

But they are because you said them.  

Despite their body being made out of shapes, ypu're able tell they are dumbstruck by your words and let out a laugh. The sound of your laughter makes their stomach twist in ways only you can coax out of them. Only you have them wrap around your finger like this.

"Don't go crying rivers over me now." They try to play it off, yet they can't face you, and you know the effect you're having if that chuckle is anything to go by. How did they get themselves here again? It doesn't matter; they don't actually mind your teasing.

He looks up from his spot on your lap with wide watery eyes, the teardrops hanging remind you of Gangle's Tragedy mask. "They do like your adventures. And it's by your creation that make the suggested adventures fun! They like what you made with it." You try to point out. Try to reason that it's all by Caine's hands that everyone enjoyed themselves. That he did a really good job today!

But Caine gasp loudly, shooting up to roughly grab the front of your shirt. Tears fall in waterfalls as he listened to what he wanted to hear. "So they do love the suggestion box more?"

"What? No- Oh, for the love of—." You sigh. Watching as Caine ignores you in favour of crying. A tissue box appears, floating by for Caine to grasp handfuls of tissues to cry into. You're starting to think he's just crying because he thinks hes suppose to. Like he's playing some sort of role of upset boyfriend to—

Your eyes widen at the realisation. That Caine, while voicing real fears, is simply looking for your attention. Having to watched you with the others all day. Not being able to share a word together. He must have felt neglected and now plays the role of a needy boyfriend to correct it. Well, if he wants your attention, who are you to decline the request?

You push the tissue box away as he reaches for it. When he turns to face you with his tears stopped, and the saddest kicked puppy dog expression. You move to take the tissues out of his hands. "Hey?" He sniffles quietly. Confused by your actions. You ignore him in favour of grabbing his jacket and pulling him into you.

Pressing your lips to his bottom row hard. You let the kiss last, feeling Caine freeze in shock in your hands. Feel him hesitantly place his hands on your biceps, like he's in disbelief that the kiss is happening. You pull away gently.

"Darling. The adventures are fine." You firmly state, ready to comfort him, only to blink owlishly. Staring in surprise at Caine, stuck frozen as his eyes play the blue screen error message.

You and Gangle are hanging out on the couches in the main area of the circus. You both decided to spend time together in the calming quiet by body doubling. Doing your own task in the company of others. No pressure to fill the space with conversation, just having fun with your own respective hobbies. While basking in each other's company and the feeling of belonging

It's a relaxing part-time activity that you and Gangle do frequently. When you first started dating, still nervous and jittery with butterflies, you would sit on your own couch. Scared that by being too near, either you or Gangle would act like a fool. But now, you're able to share a couch. Enjoying being close within your own bubble. As you sit on one end of the red couch, Gangle is sitting on the other side.

Well, you were enjoying it for most of it but got brought out of it by Gangle's harsh scribbles. You can hear the pencil she uses press into the paper roughly. Her soft grunts of frustration are slowly becoming more frequent. While the more hunched and round her shoulders become.

You spent what has to be a full minute watching her erasing her work, drawing, erasing, over and over. You can't ignore it any longer and place your item down. Scooting down the couch towards Gangle, stopping to sit beside her.

"Gangle?" You softly call out. Not wanting to scare her, but she jumps anyway. So lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice you approaching. She looks up with her Comedy mask eyes widen in surprise. Her hands frantically hiding her drawing.

"Oh-oh, hey?" She greets weakly.

"What's wrong?" You smile, trying to ease her, but your worry is clear.

"Its nothing." Her shoulders relax, turning her gaze towards the floor. "It's dumb." She mumbles, moving her hands to hide in her note pad instead.

"No, it's not." You reassure, and Gangle simply shakes her head. "Talk to me." You softly inquire, watching as she mulls it over. "Please?" Gangle lets out a sigh, giving in to your request. Slowly turning to face you. She struggles to get her words at first, but manages to find it.

"I'm just- I'm practicing anatomy from what I can remember back out of the circus." She stops to let out a nose of frustration, her speech picking up in speed. " And its not- I can't do it right! It looks so bad! I don't know why, maybe it's because of my hands? " She takes a moment to stare at her ribbon hands, and you feel your heart sink at the negative talk. Gangle continues and you know you need to stop her. But she's becoming self-centered, how can you grab her attention?

"Like, it looks really bad-" You cut Gangle mid-speech to press a quick kiss to her mask. Softly touching the cool porcelain mask in a feather-light peck. "Let me have a look?" You mumble, your breath hitting against her lips.

You're a little frightened that you've crossed a line, but manage to pull back. You don't see an angry or uncomfortable expression. Instead, you see Gangle's eyes widen with her mouth dropping open, completely caught off guard and stunned by the feeling of your lips. She silently nods her head with the same expression and hands her stretch book. You take the pad, as she remains motionless.

You're relaxing on one of the many couches in the main area of the circus, reading a book. Having found it while exploring your room. After all, how could you resist a title like 'Guide to Having Fun on a Great Adventure Made by Your Beloved Ringmaster' with a black and white picture of Caine sitting at a desk.

Jax spots you, minding your business and takes advantage of your inattentiveness. Quickly but quietly, Jax approaches from behind. Being mindful of the bucket full of water. Step by step, Jax reaches the couch and carefully lifts the bucket. Pass his hips, pass his shoulders, until he's holding it above his head. Ready to dump it onto you.

"Don't even think about it, Jax," you sternly warn, not looking up from your book.

"How'd you know it's me?" Jax groans. Water sloshing around as he lowers it from above his head. Still raised high enough as if he's thinking about going through his prank.

"I can sense you," Jax lets out a disbelieving snort at that, "and you're not pranking me." Jax has been on a hot streak lately, messing around with everyone in the circus. First, with Zooble, by making them join today's adventure and proceeding to push them headfirst into, well, everything he can. Next, he bothered Gangle with his usual teasing. He even pushes Pomni in the way of an incoming truck — again.

But it didn't end with the adventures. At the circus he managed to place centipedes in Ragatha's room and even attacked Kinger by placing a sink bomb in his pillow fort. He's been a done right menace. Not even the title of his significant other will protect you from experiencing your turn, as you escape your fate by a well-timed jab.

"Oh, me? Prank you?" He bends to place the bucket down, not spilling any of the water. Deciding against following through with his plan. "Now, why would you think so little of me? Aren't I your little guy?" Jax jumps onto the couch, plopping himself beside you with his arm draped over the backrest behind you, his yellow glove hand resting on your shoulder. He looks at you with his best 'innocent' expression.

You spare him a side eye and return to your book.

"Well, since you're being a spoil sport. How about helping me with some new ideas?" Jax doesn't wait for an answer and moves to place his head on your lap. Lying down, he begins to list out new pranks to pull on the others.

You tried to ignore him, block him out by reading your book. But Jax waves his hands along with his words, bumping your arm. Cause you to lose your place. Or he'll purposely move your forearm, the one holding the book, to the side so you have to look down at him.

Getting annoyed, you cut him off in the best way you know. You snap your book shut and set it down. The loud noise cuts Jax off, yet before he could tease you, 'am I bothering you?', or any other remarks. You grab him by his ears.

"Hey!" Jax warns, glaring lightly at the feeling of you tugging his ears back. Tilting his face, as you bend your back to reach forward. Pressing your lips roughly onto his. The angle of your lips is off, but the feeling and intention are enough for Jax.

You feel Jax returning the act, lifting his head to press his lips against you. His guard lowers as he loses himself, getting lost in your touch as he focuses on your lips. Having him exactly where you want him, you pull apart, using your grip on his ears to prevent him from chasing after your lips.

"Shh. You're talking too much," you whisper against his lips. Then, letting go of his ears, you push him off your lap. Jax lands on the ground with a loud thud, watching from his spot on the ground as you get up and walk off with your book in hand.

"Hey!" He calls after you, but you continue to ignore him. "You can't play dirty! Come back here!" Jax cries out as he swiftly stands up and chases after you.

ﾟ.+:｡Kinger

Kinger couldn't sleep tonight within the pillow fort, you tend to stay up later than him. Mostly letting your thoughts wander over nothing in particular. You saw him shift, turning and tossing. Cuddling up to you, then letting go to flip on his other side, only to roll over and return to press up against you.

You ease him through it. Quietly call out to him, asking what's wrong. Thankfully, the dark of night and the pillow fort allow Kinger to center himself and be able to explain cohesively that he simply has too much on his mind.

You're able to encourage him to talk things out. Moving to sit beside each other. After letting out his concerns, Kinger still couldn't fall back asleep. Which is where you find yourself now, still sitting with your backs against the soft, sturdy pillow fort walls as you get Kinger to share bug facts he can remember.

You didn't mean to tune out his words; you were quite interested in what he had to share. But something about how animated Kinger gets, speaking with such excitement. Moving his hands softly as he explains facts he wouldn't normally be able to. sitting close enough to be able to see the way his eyes shine, lighting up from his passion. Those little chuckles he lets out as he makes light jokes have you swooning. You're trying to concentrate, but your mind is constantly drifting. Fighting down the urge to kiss him.

"Oh! I believe the Blue Morpho's life span is encapsulated in," Kinger looks away from your eyes as he concentrates on the fact,"…um, hundred days? No, that doesn't sound right? Oh!" He clicked his fingers, his eyes lit up at remembering as he meets your gaze, "It's one hundred fifteen days! Just under three-!"

You very quickly lose the fight and give in to your impulse. Bringing your hands to cup his wooden face, moving swiftly to press your lips in the space his mouth would appear during the times he needs to eat. Softly pressing your lips onto the wooden texture, gently as if you're holding something precise and important.

You feel Kinger's hand holding onto your shoulders. Thinking he's trying to tap out, you pull back. Feeling embarrassed by how suddenlt you give into your urges. "Sorry. Couldn't help myself. What were you saying?" You giggle sheepishly.

"I don't remember," Kinger slowly sound out his words as his eyes lock onto your lips. He leans forward and reconnects for another kiss. Softly pushing you to the ground, as he leans above you.

ﾟ.+:｡Pomni - Set during ep 7

The group talks over the plan that Abel, the supposed human who slips right under Caine's many eyes and remains stuck in an NPC body, proposes for exiting the Circus. It feels like the tipping point, the last hurdle they have to push through. The last race they have to give their all, trusting each other as they assign each other their parts in order to achieve their goal.

Pomni vouches for Abel, encouraging others to hope and convincing Jax to at least try. Yet she feels her own confidence waver when she studies your expression. You've been keeping a neutral expression during the discussion. One that Pomni, who likes to believe she knows you best since she's your girlfriend, can't read. She can't tell if you believe in the plan, if you're nervous or doubtful.

A need to talk to you arises, because if you don't believe in it, then maybe it is a lost cause.

The group breaks up to move forward with the plan. Jax is going to distract Caine. Pomni with Ragatha will accompany Abel to obtain the admin passes. While you remain with the others. Pomni watches you walk with Zooble and Gangle, not even giving her a glance. Her stomach twists as that tugging, nagging sensation in her chest telling her to go to you becomes stronger.

"I-I just be a second." She holds a hand out to Abel and Ragatha. Sparing the duo a glance as she rushes after you.

You hear your name being called and turn to see Pomni. With your attention on her, she slows down and comes to a stop, an arm's length in front of you.

"Pomni?" you tilt your head in confusion.

Now in front of you, Pomni isn't sure what to say. She fiddles with her hand as she debates on outright asking what you think. You take a step forward, and Pomni decides to be a little bold in her approach. She reaches out and gently takes your hand in hers.

"I know, this plan from Abel is—um, a long shot. But, if we have a chance of escaping we need to take it. " She begins, fiddling with your hand. "And if we do leave, we'll be able to see each other. Really see each other. And go on a real date." Pomni grip tightens as she suggests her biggest hopes.

Hopeful it entices you to agree, to help with the plan. At the sight of your amused expression, she realized her words could sound dismissive of the time already spent together.

"That's not saying our dates in the circus aren't real! They are." Pomni quickly backpedals, trying to smooth things over in case she offends you. " They're all nice! But um, it'll be ever nicer not to get interrupted with one of Caine's promotional videos! I don't even know why he does those-"

You lean forward to place a kiss on Pomni's cheek, silencing her worries and confusion about the mystery of Caine's ad videos. You were a little confuse on why Pomni started to ramble about the plan again. But at the mention of a real date. You feel your heart skip a beat, recognizing her listing out the reason to push forward. Feeling touched by her effort to reassure you, despite not needing it.

"You worry too much, of course I'm in." You softly reassure her, placing another quick peck on her cheek before pulling back.

"Oh, right," Pomni feels dumb for thinking the worst. Of course, your mind was busy about home; everyone is putting their hope on this. "Sorry. I just noticed you didn't react, and um." She brings a hand up to her cheek

"I was just lost in thought about leaving." Affectionately rolling your eyes at her with a fond smile. You squeeze her hand. "We should get going." You remind her, nodding towards Abel and Ragatha, who stand some distance away.

"Yeah, " Pomni looks past you to see Zooble and Gangle waiting some distance. Remembering the pressure of the plan but not having the desire to leave. Pomni finds any excuse to make sure your departure, even for a short moment, will be on a better note than her fumbling her words.

"… By the way, you missed." She teases. Her smile widens as she watches your adorable confuse expression. "Your suppose to kiss here." She points to her lips. Simultaneously tugging your clasp hand and stepping closer to you.

"Right," you smile, knowingly as you return the hold. "Let me try again." You move forward, pressing your lips to her lips.

ﾟ.+:｡Ragatha - no fixed setting, but before ep 6

You and Ragatha are lying on your bed. Its suppose to be a relaxing evening, a reward for getting through another of Caine's adventures and getting by Jax's taunts. You've been looking forward to this all day. To reconnect with your girlfriend. To cuddling and acting soft. To support each other and check in.

Instead, your lips press into a line as you listen to Ragatha worry about Pomni. The newest member of the circus. Even as Ragatha lies cuddled beside you, head on your chest, legs tangled, her hand waving through the air. Since her mind is focused elsewhere, voicing out her every concern about Pomni. Using your precious time together to talk about Pomni.

You are not jealous.

You are being a good partner and supporting Ragatha. Listening to her words and supporting her as you rub smoothing circles on her back. You just happen to be concerned about Ragatha's fixation on said jester. Wanting your girlfriend to lighten up. So what if that means stop talking about Pomni? It doesn't mean you're jealous.

"It's alright, Ragatha." You skillfully cut in during Ragatha's 'ums’. Her attempt to gather her thoughts. "Pomni is still adjusting. Everyone goes through a tough process. Whatever she says or does doesn't mean it's her definite opinion of us." You try to reason as you twirl her red yarn ringlet. Voice kind but firm, to hopefully end the discussion.

"Yeah," Ragatha sighs, sinking into your embrace. "I guess you're right." She mumbles, but doesn't sound convincing.

"When Pomni is ready, she knows she can go speak her feelings to someone. She's going to be fine." You squeeze Ragatha's shoulder in an attempt to hammer in the last nail into the coffin. To move on from the conversation. Turns out, those words were the wrong ones.

As Ragatha suddenly sits up with an air of panic. "But what if she doesn't? What if I pushed her too hard and she closes up? Or she goes to Jax-"

You sigh, staring up at the ceiling.

You're not jealous. Ragatha is going through something and needs to calm down. What you're about to do is to help her and not a drastic grab for her attention.

With nothing holding you back, you sit up and reach for Ragatha's face. Hands placed on her cheeks to turn her head towards you, you lean forward to press a quick kiss on her lips. Enough to drag her out of her own head.

You pull back, staying close to lock her in eye contact. "Pomni knows she can always go to you. That you'll help her the best you can. It's going to be okay." You reassure her as you gently cradle her face. Ragatha blinks in surprise at the kiss. Needing a moment to process your words.

"You're right," she sighs softly, melting into your hands, "Thank you. I'm sorry, I got so worked up about it. Constantly going on about Pomni and how she's…" Ragatha pauses as she closely examines your face. Recognizing the sternness in your eyes, the pinched brows, your firm tone. A shift on Ragatha's face as she makes a connection. "Hang on, were you…Are you jealous?"

You feel your eyes widen in surprise at the claim. You let go of Ragatha. Ragatha quickly catches herself with a quiet 'oof'. You flop backwards onto the bed, crossing your arms. "I was not jealous! I was helping you!" You weakly defend.

"No, no, I think you were." Ragatha tease, crawling up the bed to hover above you. A wide smile appears on her face, looking much more relaxed as she continues to tease you. You huff with a pout as you let her. The things you do for her smile.

ﾟ.+:｡Zooble - set after ep 3

You returned from the Mildenhall Manor adventure. Having a surprisingly good time drinking tea with the Ghost NPC, beside Ragatha and Gangle. You greeted an annoyed Zooble, who sits waiting for you on the couch. With the way their unicorn horn twitches, you knew they didn't have a good time being left with Caine.

You didn't have to ask Zooble, as they immediately lurch into a rant about the ringleader. Walking ahead towards your room to have privacy from the others. Zooble always prefer your room, claiming it's better than theirs.

Walking down the hallway, you tried to show your support to Zooble. Tried to bring up how you helped tie Jax up. Knowing the mental image would bring a chuckle out of Zooble. But they're persistent, cutting off every word you say to instead vent. Even going as far as to repeat themselves.

"I kept telling him, he didn’t fix sh@#, but he wouldn’t listen! You know what he did? He gave me another box of parts!" Zooble stops in the hallway, hands clenched in fury. You wouldn't be surprised if they start waving it towards the ceiling.

Having to stop walking because of them, you're starting to get annoyed by the constant sound of Caine's name. You know you should be patient and support your partner. But you also have your limit. Your eyes wander as Zooble begins their rant again. Getting an idea as you realise how close to the wall they are.

"I tried to explain it in simple terms, but he kept drawing bees! BEES-hmpf-" Zooble gets caught off guard as you push them against the wall. Zooble's eyes widen at the act, and before they could ask about it. You're pressing into them, pinning them with a kiss.

Despite their body not having a visible mouth, Zooble sometimes get the sensation of lips. Usually, around food when they get to eat and if they’re lucky, whenever you kiss them. This time, oh, Zooble is definitely lucky. They can feel your lips press roughly. Like you’re demanding their attention. Commanding them. Dominating, and it steals their breath away. They lean into it, letting you take whatever you want.

But too soon is the kiss broken by you pulling back. "That's enough about Caine. How about focusing on me now?" It's a rhetorical question, not accepting any other answers except for 'yes'. Your hands beside their head, place firmly onto the wall to cage them. Forcing them to look nowhere else but your dark eyes.

"Yeah- yep- whatever you say." Zooble agrees, nodding dumbly as they lean in for another kiss.
