Zooble like pulls you behind them protectively, Ragatha flanking your other side and checking your eyes for a concussion or being hypnotized because god knows what Caine can do

"What did you do to y/n? Spill it before I get Caine, you ###hole!" Jax scoffs, raising his hands in surrender, back arching slightly to lean away from Zooble.

"Oh come on, Zoobie, I'm not that bad! I wouldn't stop that low, sheesh! I'm hurt, truly," Zooble makes a noise that's almost like a growl, glaring at him, while Ragatha busies herself with checking you over.

"Come on, y/n, sweetheart. Look at me. I just need to check something. He didn't do anything, did he? You're okay?" Despite her focus, Ragatha's voice had pitched to a new level of concern, cradling your face in her hands. "Yes, Ragatha, I'm okay—" "Shh, shh, I know."

despite being total opposites, you two are surprisingly healthy for one another

you teach him how to be gentle and kind when it's needed, how to reign in reactions that hurt him and others, and he teaches you how to be angry and how to say no and refuse outlandish requests etc

Those are mainly from NPCS. the cast loves you too much to ever try doing stuff like that to you

Even with how healthy you are for each other, Ragatha and Zooble (and basically everyone) don't approve. You're wayyyy too nice for him

They only kinda start to handle him when you rub off on him and he starts acting a little nicer to them

But you're also there for him in the harder parts of this.

The fact you two will probably never meet in real life, that this is all just some weird reality or whatever, that he fucked up so bad that his friends are gone

But you also find a few things that lwk remind you of her fr. Like something with her color pallete or that it looks a bit pathetic, like a wet cat

She literally slapped you for that BTW because how DAREEE you compare her to a wet cat like wdym...

But she ends up falling in love with that humor and spark of life in you, clinging to it whenever she can

So when you continue to tease her with gifts like those, she switches from slapping you to being so, so grateful

She's actually so drawn to you bro bro because omg you're just so cool? Like your avatar is FIREEE she lwk jealous

And TWINSSSS because you have an eyepatch like how she has a button for an eye and so you two were literally twinning from the start

You become easy friends, even if you're kinda closed off, she doesn't mind. When she gets you to talk, you often teach her how to use the sword your avatar was given

which she appreciates because next time Jax pisses her off she'll just take your sword and use that practice on him lmao

But you also get her a bunch of ragdolls or horses or farm animals from your collections, always particularly looking out for them because you know she likes them

Similarly, she'll try to find or make stuff that resembles you, like a parrot or something along those lines

But it triples when you two get together, because even if you like some of the farm stuff you find, it's ALL going to her. No questions asked. All for ragatha.

When you first arrive, I feel like due to how shy you both are, you two wouldn't talk until a substantial amount of time has passed since your arrival

Even then, the conversations are brief and short-lived, but you learn enough about her in that time to make a guess on some stuff she would like

In a plan to finally talk to her, you gather a bunch of artsy or anime-esque figures or dolls or concepts or wtv and keep them in a pile just for her, so when you finally build up the courage to actually talk to her, you have a bunch of gifts to shower her in!

With enough encouragement, you bring the best suited (in your opinion) gift for her to spark up conversation. It's an anime character figurine who's drawing, two things she likes

She is actually so enamored with it that she lwk falls in love with you right there

After a bit more time and getting to know one another, you two get together and you finally show her your big ahh pile of gifts you've been saving over all of this time

She doesn't move for a good hour, actually, taking it in. Then she spends another hour going through all of them and deciding that, yes, she's keeping all of them

Off the bat, you think they're hella cool

Like as soon as you meet them, you like their vibe, their voice, their style, their avatar, just overall a very cool person

So you stick with them

You may not talk that much, but you keep them company while you fidget with your collectibles that you have from your adventures, and honestly? They prefer that silence after being in a place so loud

You subconsciously become their safe space. If things become too loud, they seek you out, sitting beside you and just watching you do your thing

Until eventually, you start introducing them to the stuff you find. Asking their opinion, what they like, dislike, etc

They appreciate your consideration of them. In return, they introduce you to the stuff they own, and after a bit of a shared brainwave, you two try to mash them together

Lwk you two end up making some crazy cool stuff. Abstract as hell, but really cool

They had known they were in love a bit before, but considering what they then knew of you, they didn't want to overwhelm you with such stuff until you talked first

And since you have, they have too— and you two end up together, and are by far one of the BEST couples in the circus

If he's bored, has nothing to do, wants to blow off some steam, he will purposefully seek you out to do so

At first, since you didn't really know anybody, you lwk clung to that interaction in hopes of being "normal" again

But then he hits a nerve and you stab him with your avatars sword, which Caine has to fix, and he kind of respects that you will, at least at some point, stand up for yourself

Poking him with the sword, getting a bunch of corn-like treasures and throwing them at him with the others like a horde

What was once a silly game for him has now become his torment 💔

You eventually stop when he begrudgingly surrenders, and he then realizes that oh. ohhh no. He likes you.

He kinda panics over this info for a bit, reeling and pulling back into himself, before just going for it

You are the calm to his storm, and because he loves you, he listens. If he doesn't, you'll just get the corn collectibles and he'll start covering

oh come on this is obvious

Anything you get him will be bug related or anything to do with some type of insect

but before that, he was your safe space. You joined him in the pillow fort when this life got too much and he would comfort you, sane in the darkness that often sparked insanity

Because of that (and because you didn't know how to otherwise), you would find treasure that looked or resembled bugs in some way and would make sure to give them to him

Since he would probably lose them when in the light, you wait until he's in his pillow fort to do so

He treasures all of them, but there's one he loves the most

you two had just gotten together and had gone on this adventure. Because Caine is Caine, he always makes sure to add "treasure" of varying rarity for your sake, since he's a good ringmaster

You had found this AWESOMEEE figure of a lightning bug that, when in the light long enough, would glow in the darkness. You thought Kinger would love it, and you were right

For DAYS after finding such a thing, he would spend hours just holding the figure in his palms, allowing it to soak up as much light as possible, before cradling it to his body in the pillow fort and enjoying its gorgeous light

because of how distant he is with the other hashira, he either doesn't notice or isn't told in the first place. Both scenarios go down differently though

In the case that he doesn't catch on, it's probably because he's always known you three were close and assumed it'd stay that way, and wasn't really present during the whole evolving into girlfriends thing

If he wasn't told, that honestly doesn't surprise him. He isn't close with the others even if they are kind or not to him, so he wasn't expecting to be told of anything if it wasn't work related. This is probably impossible, because Mitsuri would gush about you and Shinobu to literally anyone who is in earshot, including him

However, when it comes to his actual reaction, he's surprised. He doesn't outwardly show that he's surprised but his prolonged silence and slight widening of the eyes is enough to figure it out

He didn't really expect someone as quiet as Shinobu to be with someone as loud as Mitsuri, and definitely wasn't expecting all three of you. Eventually, he accepts it, since he was then spending his time trying to analyze everything that you three have done beforehand and see how oblivious he truly was.

he's shocked, but also incredibly happy. He had a feeling beforehand (lwk dad sense) but didn't want to voice it and offend anybody, so he just listened to everything going on

Once it is confirmed that you three are together, he is very joyous, very whimsical

He cries of course but it's out of joy this time. For once, this profession of theirs has brought something truly lovely out of it, something as pure as love, even as unexpected as it was

When nobody's looking, not even around Genya, he prays. I mean, he always does this, but he includes you three in his prayers. Praying that you three, if you are to stay together, find eternal happiness, in both life and death alike.

If someone were to find him praying for you three, he'd probably be embarrassed, but if his words have even the slightest impact to your relationship, he will sing their praises

already knew. HOWEVER is very happy regardless! He will laugh with his chest, bring you three out to celebrate, but thank you for thinking of letting him know anyway

How did he know? Oh come on. He may be loud and boisterous but he is far from unobservant, he picked up the facts from context clues and reading between the lines of what you three did together

And come ONNN the chemistry? He could practically breathe it when in a room with you guys. And also the fact that you three fought so well together? DAMNN SIS

But because of that, he was able to piece together that his hashira companions were, in fact, in love. Deeply in love, actually

Doesn't care. At all, actually. If you tell him, he is straight faced and he unsurprised. Not even shocked, not a little bit.

He caught on a while ago, piecing together the fact that you three were destined to get together. The mannerisms, expressions, hanging out more and more outside of your Slayer duties.

He is silently grateful you even thought to tell him, considering the lack of reaction you were probably looking for, but he already knew. What's the point of faking a reaction for someone else's pleasure? None at all, so he doesn't bother

Simply tells the truth; "yeah, I know." Waits for more info if you are to give any, and if not, just turns and walks off, stalking away with the same measured pace as before

It's not in his nature to care about such trivial things, but he's glad you guys are happy, even if all of you seem to always be smiling anyways

Now, he's not like a hater through and through 🥹 he still loves, just not so.. loudly. Openly. He still holds familial love for his brother, and a love for his companions, but not romantically.

If he were to love someone romantically he fears that it could greatly ruin his performance and chances at beating demons and saving society, and that same sentiment has therefore been put onto everyone else. If they don't follow it, he doesn't like it.

He doesn't like this feeling, so he buries it. But seeing how you treat them so well... he catches himself watching every now and then, storing the info away for the future so he knows how to treat a loved one himself

He eventually learns to appreciate the relationship with you and Shinobu and Mitsuri, finding it wholesome in the end and grateful for learning things from it, even if you don't know about that

And that's only because he sees Shinobu as a mother figure and is GREATLY protective. He actually almost fought you when he learned about it, having to be advised otherwise by her that he would get obliterated by your Thunder Breathing. He snorts but doesn't go for it, surprisingly

But he does keep a close eye on you three, making sure his 'mother' is okay and being treated well. After about a year of this, he begrudgingly agrees that you and Mitsuri are worthy of being with her and moves on, then seeing all of you as mother's too

It's actually adorable when it gets there because he'll be seen just following you all around like a little baby animal, and AGHAHSUSHS

Also knows. She lives in the Butterfly Estate with AND is apprenticed under Shinobu. She'd have to be hella stupid not to notice the relationship forming

Even with her constant smile and silent responses, she is very, VERYYY observant. At first, she doesn't do much more than look and assess you and Mitsuri, making sure you are fit to be with Shinobu after all she's been through

She also confirms it after about two months and accepts the fact it is going to happen and is actually grateful for the happiness and love you two bring into her mentor's life

She begins to see you and Mitsuri as family, actually, warming up to both of you and even interacting with you two as well. It's an incredibly cute and wholesome family thing altogether

Only knows because of Mitsuri. Beyond that, she's oblivious.

She knows you three are together but doesn't bother delving into the details. You two make Mitsuri happy, she can shrink and curl up safely with all three, and that is all she cares about

She is, however, incredibly protective. Demons hurling themselves at you that she's aware you all can kill quickly? Oh whatever, she's already there and the threat is gone.

All of you find it cute how she trusts you all implicitly, taking care of and loving her like a daughter between the three of you
