“Don’t keep me waiting…”

“Hey, Cindy. Glad you could make it,” he said as he stood up, unsure whether to offer his hand or a hug. They had agreed to meet at this cafe on sixth, grab a cup of coffee, do things that, y’know, friends did. Because that’s what they were. Friends. And nothing should be awkward between them.

“I, uh, already ordered myself a cappuccino. They should be back along in a second.”

it’s a small ( rather shy ) smile that leaves her lips ---- it was always a bit awkward, she did her best to keep her distance but when he stood... she froze ( if only slightly ) -------- WAS THAT HER CUE TO HUG HIM ? she’d become so socially awkward since coming back, she blamed settling back in, and so as a result, the first ( and only reaction she could think of ) was to go for it and to step into the hug. making sure it was quick ( and holding her breath until she sat back down on her side of the table ). 

Matt smiled at the woman. He was glad that she agreed to respect his privacy.“Yes,I’m ready. Give me everything you’ve got.” He said as he lied down.

    There are times when the hacker games get boring. He gets tired of wearing too big clothes to hide the body he has spent years building. When this happens, he wanders around the city in search of something to do. This usually results in fights, many of which end in cracked bones and skulls disconnected from bodies. He has never been a gentle killer and sees no sense in starting now. The sound of movement alerts him to another presence and he drops the body in his hands and reaches for the blade under his shirt. “Ain’t nobody ever tell you sneaking up on people is rude?” The fake New York accent is gone, it’s all Oakland now. “You looking to join him or you got something to say that won’t waste my time?”
