In celebration of the one year anniversary of Reincarnation (I was originally going up use an acronym (IBRAAOMCBTNTSIACOTTS) but it quickly became a bad idea), I’m opening up my asks for Character Asks! Just FYI this is specifically for the versions of the characters from "I’ve Been Reincarnated as an Overpowered Mob Character, but the New Transfer Student Is a Composite of Twenty-Three Souls?!”. You probably know the drill, as it’s popped up now and again in this fandom. But in case you don't, Character Asks are, well, you ask the characters questions. Here’s some extra specifics for this:

Characters : Characters you can ask are restricted to characters who show up in the fic (this is obvious). Be it people who show up once (Examples : Horkeu Kamui, Gabriel, Hombre Tigre) or main characters, it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that they showed up at all and aren't currently 'taken out' (I may be lenient on this depending on the context of the ask).

Extra : There are some extra characters you can ask, like the “False” Author and the Gods. I will say, though. Due to what they can and cannot share, if you’re asking about story events, their answers may not be exactly what you desire.

Can I ask YOU?! : Uh, I’m not a character. But it’s still my blog, so I guess you can ask me.

Multi Asks : Multi-Asks (Asks where you ask more than one character at the same time) are allowed and will be answered to the best of my ability. However, quality may vary depending on how... Reasonable, the group of characters asked are.

When : The versions of the characters used will be characters from right after the most recent chapter posted. This means they will answer repeat questions in case the circumstances change enough to change their answer. Additionally, because of this, no asks will be answered until a week after a new chapter is posted in order to not spoil anything.

Canon? : The answers from the characters will be canon facts about the characters. However, them being asked these questions is (obviously) not canon*. (*Notable exception for the gods, as someone (I wonder who) asked them these questions in person)

Remember last update when my hand was feeling things as unnaturally warm? Yeah, well it turns out I had a brain problem and had to get surgery. The problem was diagnosed, dealt with, and recovered from in the time it took for this to get one update. I am going to try to set a more reasonable schedule. Maybe. Anyways read it.

“Well...”

“It’s complicated, of course.

He initially was just... A new ‘little brother’ so to say. 

...I’ll admit. Looking back, it was fucked up of me to just project my brother onto him. He’s- He’s not him. But... I- I couldn’t overcome my selfish desires...”

“Of course, now, things have changed. He’s not him. I know that. He’s himself.”

“He’s still a little bratty, but he’s clearly grown since the valentines panic. He’s different, but in a good way!”

“And well- About the second question.

...I’ll be honest. I- I know our relationship will be irreparably changed. He knows... More than most, but not quite the whole truth. He- He was upset at me before. But he’s a smart kid. He’ll understand why I had to do what I did.

...At least I hope he does.”

“I- I- I-

F-First of all, how the FUCK did you hear about that! I- It’s I-

I only talked about that with Naz- The Idiot God! S-So-! Did- Did he- Did you fucking-?!”

Nazar speaks out.

“Maybe, maybe not! Just answer the dang question!”

“I- Fine! I- It’s-”

“Well, it’s complicated. I- I didn’t really know I had feelings for him. I- The Idiot God had to point it out before I really understood them...

But... I always felt something when I was with Ryota. It- It wasn’t just once. It happened quite a few times.”

“Like after we were coming back from the aquarium, he ended up nodding off on my shoulder. I didn’t think much of it. I just placed my paw over his hand and-”

“Okay, now that I’m pointing out specifics it seems really obvious that the ‘pleasant feeling’ had to be something more than just that! But I-”

“...I really just didn’t know.

And to be honest...

...I still don’t think I entirely do.”

...... Nazar shouts out.

“What do you mean you don’t entirely do!? I literally spelled it out for you! It’s so obvious that you love him!”

“I- It’s not that simple! I- I’ve never experienced this kind of real romantic interest! You can’t just tell me that-”

Nazar interrupts.

“Oh I think I can! It’s-!”

“Well… It was really annoying at first. And well-“

“At first actually means a few weeks! It was really hard to adjust how you act and how you move around in the world. I stepped on my tail twice in the first week, and that was not fun!”

“And well- I- I kind of went into a bit of a spiral a while back. With… Wulvf… …I had some trouble really accepting that… …I sort of just felt… Out of place. Like I wasn’t supposed to be in this body.” … ……

“But I have to keep moving forward. Especially now. I'm not sure what Ethan has in store for me, but I have to deal with it. For Nazar. For Ryota. For everything I've been fighting for.” … ……

Going into more depth from the answer I gave in chapter one, I really like Isekai stories. So I really wanted to make an Isekai with an actual flawed protagonist that's more than a piece of white bread.

The premise was largely inspired by I Became the World's Strongest Witch: I Will Live Freely in a World Where Only I can Access the "Guide Site", where the main character completely changes up the main story of the game she's supposed to be in. Additionally, Ryuu's power and they way he used it was mostly inspired by both Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear and Life of a Home Center Sales Clerk in Another World: With the Titles - "DIY Master," "Green Master" and "Pet Master", where although the main characters are overpowered, they do have to make creative use of their powers in order to achieve their goals.

I had to dunk my right hand in a cup of ice water because it's feeling things as warm instead of it's actual temperature (Update: It didn't work. ARGH!). ANYways, NEW CHAPTER THAT I FOR SOME REASON PUT A TON OF EFFORT INTO THE FORMATTING! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAD!
