Here's everything that happened
The ceremony is closing in and everyone is preparing themselves. Loki ask his students to help set up the stage for the Ceremony
Ophion said that for the next following days MC will be alongside Tasaburo till the ritual
While it approaches Oniwaka is still anxious about MC safely since the details about the ritual is really vauge. And Documention about it on their history books were also vauge on information
When the ceremony finally happened Tasaburo snd MC saw a scenario of a battle that happened on this island similar to what MC has been dreaming for several days now
As Tasaburo Try to appease the spirit they became angry and attacked MC. But luckily Oniwaka was there to save them
As Tasaburo calm the sprits Oniwaka is a bit furious about this whole Ceremony since its a danger to MC safety and why he was chosen as the sacrifice
Tasaburo explained that MC was chosen cause they're the ones who drempt of the battle that happened on this island which is clearly a bad omen. And they'll be use as the offer to help calm down the sprits.
Even after the explaination it still doesn't add up since there were no record of previous ritual that happened on this island and Oniwaka is growing even more suspicious about it
I'm starting to suspect this whole island is just an illusion that came from Tasaburo. And these characters got involved cause they probably went to that island and got trapped
Oniwaka is either very brave or really stupid lmao
Not only did he interrupted an important ritual but he planned to escape and elope with MC and he used the vengeful spirit attack as an opportunity to do it😭
