Way way back I drew a comic explaining what we really mean by ‘The Autism Spectrum’ and posted it here back when Tumblr was Huge. Then the comic really blew up!! Last year I did a remake of the comic, with some updated language, and using Mia, a character from a graphic novel I made. Figured I’d share for Autism Acceptance Month!
If everybody looked at the autism spectrum as a color wheel instead of a linear line with two extremes, maybe they’ll better understand where autistic people are coming from.
Honestly the color wheel makes more sense, covers of different areas that strengths and weaknesses each person have

I don't know if you've done this before but hybrid bees with a reader allergic to bee stings?
Omg, that’s a good idea, but it’s hard to imagine the bee hybrids ever stinging you, even accidentally!
If that did happen and you were allergic, they’d panic and quickly punish whoever stung you!
All of their efforts to towards trying to get you proper medical care and make sure you’re okay. Once you’ve had your EpiPen and everyone has calmed down, you’ll try your best to pardon the poor soul that accidentally stung you.
On the other hand, it’s quite common for the baby bees to get you with their stinger. They truly don’t mean to, they just have trouble controlling it!
You’ve been stung so many times that all of your attendants carry an epipen on them at all times!

For short stories what if you do other insect hybrids like centipedes, tarantulas/spiders, scorpion, ect? I personally lean more toward tarantula driders because I'm not a big fan of heights and more tend to be terrestrial or fossorial (there are some that are arboreal or semi-arboreal but most like to be on the ground)
AHH I love tarantulas! I don’t know much about them but they’re so fluffy and cute! And scorpions with their stingers… centipedes with their weird cum(I think they cum little balls? Heard that from an anon but forgot to answer their asks)
I feel like they have so much potential!
