These are default texture replacements for only the foliage of the four TS3 treehouses, three from Generations and one from Town Life. I desaturated and yellowed the leaves in order to fit in better with my general "aesthetic" and the other similar plant defaults I've made and shared. So, if you like/have/use those defaults, you may be interested in these, too.

The download file contains separate defaults for each of the treehouses, so you can pick and choose, as well as a merged file that will default all four. If you use the merged file but don't have Town Life or Generations installed, it will still work fine. You'll just have one (or three) useless images loaded into your game.

This mod adds a genetic trait inheritance system to The Sims 3. When a baby is born, they have 50% chance (tunable) to inherit one eligible trait from either parent. Twins and triplets are processed individually, so each baby gets their own chance to inherit a trait.

for those of you who don't know me, i'm concat_plays, a sims 3 content creator on youtube, twitch, insta, and tiktok!

one of my most anticipated projects on my youtube channel is the full renovation of the lack luster base game sims 3 world, Sunset Valley!

after releasing the first version of the world (unpopulated) many people pointed out issues they were encountering in the world. now with the release of the populated version, all issues except for one has been fixed!
the only issue you should encounter in the populated version is the bathrooms for the seasonal festival lot being empty when the festivals come to town... other than that, all is good! (or at least i think it should)
the theme for the world as the name suggest is sunset valley but set 30 years later. the overall town vibe remains the same just a bit modernized!
the world itself requires every expansion pack, no stuff packs, has no cc, and requires three sims 3 store items but the store items are not a necessity and can all be easily replaced

i thought it would be fun if you could see some of the og sunset valley townies all grown up and living out their individual lives so expect to see a couple of familiar names around town as well as some new faces who have moved in throughout the years!
all of the households have a bio and lore written about them, the individual sims do not (this was wayyy too much work) and not only do the families have lore but the townies also have skills, jobs, and relationships with other sims.
the save file does use lots of cc hair for the sims! i have decided not to include a cc folder with the world download, i will instead include the cc creators and exact names of the cc collections i used! i tried keeping cc to a minimum and i hope listing it out like this helps!

The version shown in the screenshots is a Base Camp, designed to replace the default one in Champs Les Sims.

The second version is a fully functional Resort. To make that possible, I had to make a few small changes to the reception area (to add the resort check-in desk) and to the restaurant (to accommodate the buffet tables). Everything else is exactly the same.

Because this is a special lot type, you'll need to use a couple of cheats to replace the default Champs Les Sims Base Camp with this one. Don't worry, it's very simple! Just follow these steps once you're in Edit Town mode in Champs Les Sims:
Enable testingCheatsEnabled true.
Enable enableLotLocking true.
Select the default Base Camp and click the padlock icon in the bottom-right corner to unlock the lot.

Today marks 25 years of The Sims. Since EA forgot TS3 exists, Iām releasing the entire The Sims 3 Store as an Anniversary Gift. It's all pre-installed and works flawlessly!
It comes with all available fixes and collection folders Iāve personally created for every set. You'll get over 5000 new Buy/Build and CAS items, 11 new worlds, and tons of new gameplay!
INSTRUCTIONS
Go to "Documents/Electronic Arts" and rename the "The Sims 3" folder (or move it).
Create a new folder and name it "The Sims 3" (or whatever the name is in your language).
Extract the contents of the ZIP file in "The Sims 3." Now launch the game.
You'll have to adjust your setting again. Don't forget to disable the in-game Store so you don't get duplicates.
Quit the game. Copy the "Saves" folder from the folder you have previously renamed. You can also copy your Mods and CC in package format.
CAUTION
Never copy over or overwrite the DCCache folder.
If you have content installed through the Launcher (Sims3Pack), you'll have to reinstall it.
I strongly recommend you don't install things through the Launcher from now. It already has a lot of content and it is a known fact the Launcher becomes more and more unstable the more content it has to handle.
Since the entire Store has been decrapified, if you want to install lots or world that contain Store content, you'll have to decrapify those too using MATY's TS3 Recompressor.
I had a report that there was an invisible top in CAS. It doesn't seem to have a CASP resource so it shouldn't cause any issues (like being assigned to a random Sim). It's best to avoid it or hide it or blacklist it using NRaas mods. Do NOT try to save the game while your Sim is "wearing" this invisible top.
UPDATE #1: MARCH 2025
Added some missing content: the Mother Russia CAS Set and the Cool Chap Cap that was given as a secret bonus item in the "Make Me an Offer" page. If there's something else missing, please let me now.
Now NRaas MasterController and the Cheats and Integration modules are included in the pack. This version NRaas MC comes with CAS Compact Mode enabled by default. This should fix the issue of blank/invisible CAS items and also speed up the loading of CAS items. Keep in mind, these mods aren't compatible with Lazy Duchess' Smooth Path, but you can have both. Her mod will automatically disable the fast loading of CAS items.

Made BradyBunchBegone (and potentially other patches in the future) re-apply correctly on game load, these use settings that are overwritten multiple times by the game, this should re-apply it like the settings tab does.
Rewrote/reworked much of the Lot Streaming Optimization Patch, used correct nomenclature, fixes an issue with apartment shells being placed oddly due to the throttle throttling them, "important" objects will now not throttle.

I've been using CC Magic for over 10 years. But it hasn't seen an update in over 10 years. It requires additional software to run and misses the features I've always wanted, so I decided to create my own.
PlumbobForge takes what made CC Magic so great and improves on it
Modern UI - Simple to use and understand. It's easy to get the hang of it
Smart Filtering - You can filter your CAS files by categories (Hair, Clothes, Skintones, Sliders, Presets, etc.) with filtering for more types of files potentially coming in the future *wink*
Smart Configurations - Worlds, lots, and sims can be disabled, enabled, and fully work with Configurations
Item Details - A name is too long? Rename it. Need to quickly find the source? Search it on Google
No required dependencies - Just install and start
Compression - Enabled by default, can be turned off, with options to pick from (from 'Low' to 'Very High')
Troubleshooting - Auto-fix system to check for errors if anything went wrong for you
It wouldn't be possible without CC Magic and just like it, it's completely open source, ad-free, and the only online connection it does is checking for updates.
It's still very early in development. I had a friend help me with testing on their machine but we might've missed some bugs, but I'm looking forward to fixing and always improving.

Babies and toddlers in their cribs have the option of sending themselves away for daycare.
All daycare options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - including holidays!
Attending daycare will decrease a baby or toddlerās Hygiene and Energy motives, but increase theirĀ FunĀ motive (unless they have the LonerĀ trait).
HygieneĀ will also decrease faster or slower if a baby or toddler has the SlobĀ orĀ NeatĀ trait, respectively.
Babies have one option for daycare calledĀ Little Sprouts Infant Care (Ā§10/per hour)Ā and will have their motives taken care of as needed.
Toddlers can go to basic daycare, where they will learn foundational skills like walking, talking, and potty training, or they can attend one of the specialized daycares that build hidden skills like painting and logic.
Specialized daycares require certain foundational skills before toddlers can enroll. They will also cost more per hour than basic daycare.
The household will be charged an initial fee, and then by the hour.
The full amount will be deducted from the household funds once the baby or toddler is finished with daycare.
Tiny Tots Daycare (Ā§10/per hour)
Requirements: None
Skills Taught: Walking, Talking, and Potty Training
Imagination Station (Ā§30/per hour)
Requirements: Must be potty trained and able to walk
Skills Taught: Painting, Sandbox (sculpting), and Xylophone (musical instruments)
Early Erudite Learning Center (Ā§30/per hour)
Requirements: Must be potty trained and able to talk
Skills Taught: Charisma, Pegbox (logic), and Writing
Regardless of which option you choose, toddlers will have their motives taken care of as needed, and they will have a chance to meet other toddlers in the world.
After meeting other toddlers at daycare, toddlers can play with them to increase theirĀ SocialĀ motive and build friendships (unless they have the LonerĀ trait).
Each time a toddler leaves daycare, they have a chance of getting either the positiveĀ Happy About HomeĀ buff or the negativeĀ Upset About LeavingĀ buff about going home.

Mod Recommendations
I would recommend theĀ leave the baby home mod by climbingsideways to prevent the babysitter pop up if sims try to leave the lot while the baby or toddler is away at daycare.
