I'm back with a collection of wall art from various Sims 4 packs, as well as some custom content from a few TS4 creators! There are 20 pieces altogether in a variety of sizes.
The collection includes items from The Sims 4 (base game), The Sims 4: Get Famous, The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, The Sims 4: Lovestruck, The Sims 4: Fitness Stuff, The Sims 4: Casanova Cave Kit (thank you to @aisquaredchoco for the mesh), and The Sims 4: Cozy Bistro Kit.
Additionally there are items from simza, anabundanceofpixels, and litttlecakes!
You might also recognize some items from my 100 followers gift post from SIX YEARS AGO đą I've learned a lot about conversions since then, so I decided to revisit those items and update them!

Hey! First of all, I just want to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your mods and everything they add to the game! I wanted to share a couple of ideas. I don't have any modding skills and I'm not exactly sure how everything works, but I believe that using a system similar to your Growing Pains mod, it would be possible to create some really cool mods.
My first idea is to trigger certain traits when a sim goes through traumatic events. For example, a house fire could trigger the Coward or Neurotic trait, almost drowning could trigger the Hydrophobic trait, losing a loved one could trigger Grumpy, Brooding or Over-Emotional traits, and so on.
My second idea is essentially add "mental health issues" for sims in the form of traits. For example, if a Sim is under constant stress, they could develop the Neurotic or Grumpy traits, elders could get traits like Absent-Minded or Light Sleeper, etc.
It would be even cooler if sims could go to the hospital rabbit hole to receive therapy for both traumatic events and mental health issues. Anyway, just wanted to share some ideas! Happy Holidays!
Hi anon! Sorry about the delay in response.
Your first idea actually sounds similar to an idea I had called âMajor Life Events.â Sims could develop Commitment Issues after a divorce or a breakup, become a Coward after witnessing a fire, etc. The same could also apply to positive traits.
I also had another similar idea called âShifting Sentimentsâ where older sims may decide to âtry outâ opposite traits. Like an Evil sim trying out being Good, or a sim who Hates The Outdoors trying to Love The Outdoors.
If folks are interested, I could try making one of these ideas into an actual mod (no promises though).
I like the concept of mental health using existing traits! Iâve been going back and forth about some sort of mental health mod, but I want to respect how serious the topic is and I donât want to trivialize it either. Leaning on existing traits with their own quirks built in might be the way to go about it đ§
This mod adds rabbithole daycare for babies and toddlers!
This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.
Requirements
This mod requires The Sims 3: Ambitions to function.
Overview
Rabbithole Daycare
New Moodlets
Rabbithole Daycare
Babies and toddlers in their cribs have the option of sending themselves away for daycare.
All daycare options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - including holidays!
Attending daycare will decrease a baby or toddlerâs Hygiene and Energy motives, but increase their Fun motive (unless they have the Loner trait).
Hygiene will also decrease faster or slower if a baby or toddler has the Slob or Neat trait, respectively.
Babies have one option for daycare called Little Sprouts Infant Care (§10/per hour) and will have their motives taken care of as needed.
Toddlers can go to basic daycare, where they will learn foundational skills like walking, talking, and potty training, or they can attend one of the specialized daycares that build hidden skills like painting and logic.
Specialized daycares require certain foundational skills before toddlers can enroll. They will also cost more per hour than basic daycare.
The household will be charged an initial fee, and then by the hour.
The full amount will be deducted from the household funds once the baby or toddler is finished with daycare.
Tiny Tots Daycare (§10/per hour)
Requirements: None
Skills Taught: Walking, Talking, and Potty Training
Imagination Station (§30/per hour)
Requirements: Must be potty trained and able to walk
Skills Taught: Painting, Sandbox (sculpting), and Xylophone (musical instruments)
Early Erudite Learning Center (§30/per hour)
Requirements: Must be potty trained and able to talk
Skills Taught: Charisma, Pegbox (logic), and Writing
Regardless of which option you choose, toddlers will have their motives taken care of as needed, and they will have a chance to meet other toddlers in the world.
After meeting other toddlers at daycare, toddlers can play with them to increase their Social motive and build friendships (unless they have the Loner trait).
Each time a toddler leaves daycare, they have a chance of getting either the positive Happy About Home buff or the negative Upset About Leaving buff about going home.
New Moodlets
Happy About Home:Â Given when a toddler sim is happy after leaving daycare, lasts 4 hours, +20 mood
Upset About Leaving:Â Given when a toddler sim is upset after leaving daycare, lasts 4 hours, -20 mood
Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header âTuning.â
Mod Recommendations
I would recommend the leave the baby home mod by climbingsideways to prevent the babysitter pop up if sims try to leave the lot while the baby or toddler is away at daycare.
Conflicts & Known Issues
This is a new script mod so there shouldnât be any conflicts.

How'd you get started with modding as a whole? I'd love to one day make mods myself, but so many tutorial links are dead and inactive. It's really disheartening. Any advice?
Hi anon! I talked more about my modding journey and also linked some tutorials in this post. All of the links should still work!
Hi! I love your baking mod and I love the implementation of a self-employed baker career. Iâve always wanted a similar career for the cooking skill in the game, like as a freelance chef or caterer. Would you ever consider making a mod like that someday, as well? Thank you for all that you do!! <3
Thank you anon! Iâm so glad to hear you enjoyed the baking mod. It was a lot of work, but I think it was my favorite mod to make so far.
Iâve thought about doing some sort of caterer career too, but I need to figure out how it would function first. Itâs something Iâm actively brainstorming!

Hiking Skill
Hiking is a 6 level skill, and is primarily gained by sims going on hikes under the new âHikingâŚâ pie menu option on the Campground Map.
There is also a new hiking skill class available at the Stadium rabbithole for §300.
As your sim increases their hiking skill, they will unlock longer hikes and the ability to hike at night.
Going on hikes also raises a simâs athletic skill, albeit slower than a traditional workout.
Sims who get hungry while hiking will automatically eat, though there is a chance that what they eat may make them Nauseous or fall into a Dark Slumber (poisoned).
Sims with low bladder need will âgo in nature,â but they also have a chance of getting the Itchy or Poisoned moodlet after the fact.
If a sim becomes too tired, too hot, or too cold, they will abandon the hike early.
Hiking cooldowns vary depending on how long the simâs hike took to complete and give sims the Fatigued moodlet.
Sims with the Athletic or Adventurous traits, or with a high Athletic skill will have their hiking cooldown cut in half.
Child sims with the Scouting skill (if The Sims 3: Generations is installed) will get a boost in the hiking skill when they age into teens.
Day hikes can take place between 8:00am and 8:00pm, and night hikes can take place between 8:00pm and 4:00am.
Sims can only hike in sunny weather or during a reviving sprinkle (if The Sims 3: Supernatural is installed), unless they have completed the Seasoned Hiker skill challenge.
Sims cannot hike when it is actively snowing or when there is snow on the ground.
By completing the Expert Hiker skill challenge can lead Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced hikes during the day to earn extra simoleons.
Upon successfully completing a hike, sims will have a 2% chance of finding a gnome and a 1% chance of finding a genie lamp.
Hiking Skill Unlock Levels
Level 1: Beginner Hike
Level 2: Beginner Night Hike
Level 3: Intermediate Hike
Level 4: Intermediate Night Hike
Level 5: Advanced Hike
Level 6: Advanced Night Hike
Collectibles
While out hiking, sims have a 30% chance of finding collectibles of varying rarities like gems, metals, space rocks, insects, and wildflowers.
Certain traits or occult states can either increase or decrease your chance of finding collectibles by 5% (note: this value stacks the more traits or occult states your sim has):
Increased Chance -Â Lucky, Gatherer, and Loves The Outdoors
Decreased Chance -Â Unlucky, Loser, and Hates The Outdoors
Night Owls, Vampires, and Werewolves also have a 5% higher chance of finding collectibles on night hikes.
Day hikes and night hikes each have their own set of collectibles that can be found.
Additionally, the longer the hike, the higher the chance of your sim finding rarer collectibles.
All wildflowers can only be found during the day, and the same space rocks can be found both during the day and at night.
A full list of collectibles can be found on the download page under the header âCollectibles.â
Foraging
Sims can go foraging using the âForageâ interaction on the Campground Map.Â
Going foraging will give sims a 30% chance to find harvestables, seeds, and honey/beeswax.Â
Certain traits, skills, or occult states can either increase or decrease your chance of successfully foraging by 5% (note: this value stacks the more traits, skills, or occult states your sim has):
Increased Chance Traits - Lucky, Gatherer, Loves The Outdoors, Green Thumb (or Gardening skill level 5 or higher), and Super Green Thumb (lifetime reward)
Decreased Chance Traits - Unlucky, Loser, and Hates The Outdoors
Night Owls, Vampires, and Werewolves also have a 5% higher chance of finding harvestables while foraging at night.
Sims can forage during the day or at night for 2, 4 or 6 hours at a time, with day foraging and night foraging yielding different harvestables/seeds.
Sims who get hungry while foraging will automatically eat, though there is a chance that what they eat may make them Nauseous or fall into a Dark Slumber (poisoned).
Sims with low bladder need will âgo in nature,â but they also have a chance of getting the Itchy or Poisoned moodlet after the fact.
If a sim becomes too tired, too hot, or too cold, they will abandon foraging early.
Foraging cooldowns vary depending on how long the simâs foraging took to complete and give sims the Fatigued moodlet.
Foraging also carries a 2% risk of contracting Botinitus Minorous, which will turn your sim into a PlantSim.
Upon successfully completing foraging, sims will have a 2% chance of finding a gnome and a 1% chance of finding a genie lamp.
A full list of foraging harvestables/seeds can be found on the download page under the header âForaging.â
Ailments, Injuries, Fear, and Insects
Both hiking and foraging have a chance of giving your sims different ailments or injuries, scaring them, or giving them encounters with insects.
When hiking, there is a 25% chance of a sim developing an ailment, a 40% chance of injury, a 35% chance of fear, and a 25% chance they encounter insects.
When foraging, there is a 40% chance of a sim developing an ailment, a 25% chance of injury, a 35% chance of fear, and a 25% chance they encounter insects.
All of the possible ailment, injury, fear, and insect moodlets are listed below:
Decreased Chance -Â Lucky and Athletic (or Athletic skill level 5 or higher)
Increased Chance -Â Unlucky, Loser, Childish, Clumsy, Coward, Absent Minded, and Hates the Outdoors sims have a higher chance.
Note: If a sim is wearing mosquito repellent (from The Sims 3: Island Paradise), they will not get bitten by mosquitos while hiking or foraging.
Certain moodlets like Bee Attack, On Fire, and Terrified will end a simâs hike early.
Chance of Death
There is also a 5% chance of a sim dying while hiking via drowning, burning to death, or blunt force trauma.
Certain traits, skills, and moodlets can either increase or decrease your chance of death by 5% (note: this value stacks):
Increased Chance - Unlucky, Clumsy, Absent Minded, Loser, Daredevil, Hates the Outdoors, and Tired moodletÂ
Decreased Chance - Lucky, Athletic (or Athletic skill level 5 or higher), Adventurous, Brave, and Hiking Skill (level 4 or higher)
Note: There is no chance of death while foraging.
Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header âTuning.â
Conflicts & Known Issues
This is a new script mod so there shouldnât be any conflicts.
Uninstallation
Same as with other custom skills, removing the hiking skill may cause issues in saves where the skill has been used. I have created a new cheat called âuninstallHikingModâ to remove the hiking skill from any sims in the world and cancel all hiking interactions that may be active, but use this mod with caution.

Hi Twin, your mods are incredible and I'm really grateful for all the work you've done to make The Sims 3 even more fun! Just a thought, I was wondering if it was even technically possible to create a nail salon mod? Obviously we have the rabbithole spas but I was thinking of a TS4 style thing where you can actually go inside the building, choose what nails you want and watch your sim sitting in a chair and getting their nails done
Hi and thank you anon!
Itâs definitely possible to create a nail salon mod. I could see it working similarly to the Hairdresser Mod by @phoebejaysims.
Sims would sit in a chair and the game would take you into CAS where you can edit their nails as you wish.
Of course, youâd need some animations for a sim doing anotherâs nails, but at least from a coding perspective, itâs doable.
Hey Twinsimming! Thank you for your wonderful mods! I absolutely love them! You know, I wish The Sims 3 had personal journals and notebooks (a notebook with a goal to achieve in one life, like in the death-themed expansion pack), like in The Sims 4! It would also be great if school parents could pack lunches for school, there would be a parenting system (advice cards and school moments), and school projectsâŚ
Hi nessgipchi! And thank you!!
I donât know of any mods similar to the soulâs journey from Life and Death, but you might like The Journal Mod by @greenplumbboblover.
Another anon suggested a sack lunch mod idea a while back, and itâs on my list of future mods to attempt. Same with school projects!
Still not sure about a character values/parenting system mod, though.
The reward traits would just be normal traits that replace an existing trait a child or teen already has (similar to the Growing Pains mod except itâs permanent), but is that enough? Iâm always open to you guysâ opinions.
Hi TwinSimming! I love all your mods! I recently started playing The Sims 3 and I'm loving the experience. Your mods are definitely essential for the game, as many of them make perfect sense and fit perfectly! However, I noticed a specific problem in my game with the Acne & Skincare mod. I decided to check if anyone else was experiencing the same issue and found a recent post about it on Reddit, I can't send links here, but for some reason only the "Wash Face" option is available on the sinks.
Hello and thank you anon!

Hi. I have just gotten back to playing sims 3. I have your Tiny Living conversion files in my game. They are not showing up for some reason. I wondered if it could just be me or not? Thanks Kiwiana Girl
Hi Kiwiana!
Are all of the objects missing from Buy Mode, or only some of them?
If theyâre all missing, try moving the package files to your Overrides folder and see if that helps.
hi! i downloaded your prom night set but for some reason it makes my game unable to launch. the recent patch messed up a ton of mods so maybe it has to do with that but i'm curious if i might just be missing something? i only have the base game, no dlc. thanks! :)
Hello! I assume since you mentioned the latest patch that youâre playing The Sims 4?
I only create content for The Sims 3, so adding my cc to your TS4 game will prevent it from launching.
I really like your mods, particularly the ones that bring awesome features from ts4 to ts3. Would you think about creating a mod that allows sims to switch into bath towels after they take a shower or a bath? I love the added realism it brings, and it would be a great addition to ts3.
Thank you anon!
I can add this mod idea to my list of suggestions.

Hello! I hope you're having a good day and staying well! I was wondering, do you have any tutorials you recommend for converting s4 items to s3? As much as I'd love to suggest an item to be converted, I feel so anxious at the thought of putting something else on someone's wip list but I'd love to try my hand at it! If it helps - it's a lighting object, so not sure if there are any tips you have for those :)
Hi anon!
For conversions, I recommend this older tutorial by @gruesim, as well as this newer tutorial by @cowplantcartel.
Hey! Hope youâre doing well đ
I was replaying with your Bake mod recently and it hit me how good the gameplay flow feels, itâs one of those mods that just blends into daily sim life so naturally.
It randomly made me think how fun that same system would be with something like sushi instead of baking đ prepping ingredients, learning recipes over time, quality tiers, maybe even lot-based interactions, all built on that same grounded framework you already nailed.
Not a request at all! Just one of those âoh wait⌠this may be a thingâ thoughts that wouldnât leave my brain đ ts3 really lacked food gameplay that feels this integrated.
Anyway, just wanted to share the idea, I always love how you approach gameplay mods đŤś
Hello hello đ
A sushi mod sounds fun (and tasty)! Iâll make note of it.
