Okay. As long as I'm thinking about FFXIV today, here's a question for my fellow players. If you have played and have a decent memory of most (if not all) of the base ARR starting jobs, I'd be curious to know!

Which starter job has the most lore relevant (or lore interesting) story? And/or, which job gives you the most context for the world at large?

CNJ / WHM (Padjal & elementals)

ARC / BRD (Racism & moogles)

LNC / DRG (More racism & bonus Estinien)

ACN / SMN / SCH (Pirates, magic theory, and Nymian history)

MRD / WAR (Monster hunting)

THM / BLM (All Void, all the time)

PGL / MNK (Fighting & Ala Mhigo)

GLD / PLD (More fighting & political corruption)

... no, there's no bald option, and I know if I open it up to anything beyond base game this will turn into more waxing poetic about the DRK storyline, which is legit but not the question I'm asking. I'm more curious about what starter class you think provides the most immersion into the overall ARR story, if any!
