I start thinking about a new year and it's resolutions. And how I don't want to keep being the same me that hurts herself and everybody around in the attempt of making anything better.

I want to cry out all my sorrows and forgive myself for all the damage I've allowed.

I've never been good at this, I've never been good at holding myself together. I've never been able to make things right when they're so fucked up (and by things I'm talking about me).

I have to recognize I don't know how to treat people.

Never learned to listen, never learned to love, never learned to care.

But at least now I have hope and a sparkle and I know something that I didn't yesterday.

I don't want to keep living like this.
