man i sound a bit insane here sometimes but i always find it really interesting how social media reflects/reveals parts of a person’s life
FOR EXAMPLE a lot of the things i share on here are parts of my life that i’ve decided to share and yap on here (i.e interests and more so just life in general) like there’s elements of that which leaks from my irl life
and through a lot more contexts that effectively builds up a person’s identity in the world and i think that is beautiful
+ what tumblr (and possibly twitter arguably as a microblogging site) does something that really differs from other websites is that it runs on a ‘show-and-tell’ basis that is motivated by the innate desire for people to share things and that’s also just really effing cool thing to have a think about
