Failure is just a mindset, in the sense of, why not get up and try again? Living life with the constant guilt of your last failure is just a thing of, you can do it, trust me, you can. You just have to get up and try again, and again. We live for a better today and an even greater tomorrow. All we have is time, so we make use of it. Never tell yourself you can’t do it.

So, in whatever you do, never be scared to fail and try again. Through this journey of discovery, live. Just live and do what you have to do, because you can do it.

Come what may, take it as it is, one step at a time. When love visits, embrace it. A hard task comes along? Do it to the best of your capabilities. It didn’t work out? Move on. Another one is on its way, so why stay hung up on one that already beat you up?

Life is a long test. A test you’ll never know the score of. So, once again, do your best. Your best will always be good enough, so get up and try again.

Learn to lose. That’s the thing they don’t teach you. You can’t always be a winner, because when it’s your turn to lose, it’s gonna suck.

One more thing , solitude is one of the best things you can give yourself. There’s something beautiful about being alone, about discovering who you are beneath all the noise and figuring out where you want to go.

Being a people person can sometimes dilute you. You let people into your life, and slowly, without even noticing, they begin to paint themselves onto you. Until one day, you look at the canvas you once left untouched and realise it’s covered in other people’s colours, other people’s brushstrokes, other people’s versions of who they think you should be.

So leave some room for yourself.

Be alone. Sit with your thoughts. Let the silence remind you of who you were before everyone else started adding their colours. Paint your canvas the way you want to. Mess it up. Start again. Add colours you’ve never tried before.

Maybe that’s why artists so often work alone. Not because they hate the world, but because sometimes you need to step away from everyone else’s hands to create something that truly feels like you.

So don’t be afraid of being alone. There’s beauty in it. There’s nostalgia in remembering who you were, and freedom in discovering who you’re becoming.

At the end of it all, it’s your canvas.

So paint it your way.

It’s hard to find the right one, I fear. It really is, because some people come for a reason, a season, or a lifetime and it’s tough when most of the people I’ve been with have only come for a season. I love so hard and with such pure, genuine intentions that I give it all to the wrong people. Trust me, there have been so many reasons to give up, but I just don’t.

If you were to ask me “do you believe in love?” a long time ago, I would’ve said yes. Over time, that shifted to no, and here and there it stays a no. I’m still one of those people who believes in the kind of love you see in movies, so why don’t I receive the love I give? I really don’t know.

But I know I will find that special someone one day someone who will make me so proud to be a partner, and hopefully someone I can share this gift of loving unconditionally with, without the constant fear of getting hurt.

To share my experiences and thoughts through writing and to share them with a handful of people will always be amazing. So, wherever you are, live life with no regrets. As the seasons go by, don’t let anyone break you to the point where you can’t open your heart to the person who’s truly meant for you.

And how do you know if someone is meant for you? Trust me, deep down, you’ll just know.

Nobody talks about being chosen, but it’s one of the hardest experiences a person will ever go through. Continuously choosing people who don't choose you back has its own heavy costs. You waste so much time trying to fit in with people who don’t see you the way you see them. You give your all and pour yourself out to them, only for them to be temporary. That’s tough, because as much as some of us like being alone, we still need genuine connections to keep us grounded. At the end of the day, communion is what makes us human ,being around people who see all of you for who you truly are.

Eventually, those who leave become memories of who you used to be. One day, you’ll look back and be proud of how far you’ve come, realizing that even the people who didn’t make it to the end helped shape who you are today. So enjoy the time you have with people while it lasts.

At the same time, it’s okay to let go. Staying with people who bring you down and keep you small isn’t worth your happiness, and it’s definitely not worth losing yourself , because if you lose yourself, you lose it all. Choose people who choose you. The people you force yourself to choose will only make you lose your track in the end.
