Hello, my name is Shirley! I am eighteen years old, and here are some things about me:
♪: I am in search of friends. ♪: I am an artist, so I obviously love anything art-adjacent! I am a classical musician who plays mainly the violin, and I like to draw both traditionally and digitally. ♪: I am a country flags person! Maps and globes are also fun to me. I love space as well. ♪: My historical knowledge is currently mostly in a musical context. ♪: I am a fan of TwoSetViolin <3 ♪: I am new to linguistics and get many terminologies wrong. I would love some help from a friend. While I focus mainly on Indo-European branches and isolates, I am open to learning more about languages from different families. The Khoisan languages are very interesting! ♪: My favourite colour is #85003a or RGB [133, 0, 57]. ♪: Two of my favourite movies are Amadeus and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. ♪: I like anything horror too! I watch horror gameplays and read steps to ritual games even though I will never do them myself. I grew up with creepypasta! Additionally, I love Five Nights at Freddy's and Poppy Playtime, though I am not very deep into the lores of either. I play Plague Inc. frequently. ♪: I kind of used to be a scene furry, I guess? I had a human-cat original character and interacted with the furry community. I also played those mobile animal simulator games, especially Animal Jam—Play Wild! ♪: I have a sweet tooth :3

♪: I am autistic. I was diagnosed when I was nine years old and had selective mutism growing up. It got better, but then I had problems with my vocal cords. ♪: I was born on Valentine's Day!

I have only been able to use my voice for a few years throughout my entire life, so please gently correct me if my tone during texting rubs you the wrong way. It helps me learn whilst I undergo treatment to become verbal again and spend less time imagining what I would sound like before I send a message. I might also become repetitive and inactive for a very long time. Furthermore, I am quite tolerant of people with varying stances, including political ones. I have never blocked or reported anyone based on such things and, in fact, have neutral to positive interactions even with those I strongly disagree with. I think for myself and do not replicate ideologies in a way that I jump on a bandwagon. Please check with yourself if you are alright with us being friends, even if I have acquaintances or friends you might disagree with. Overall, please tell me very clearly and kindly if you have concerns. It helps set boundaries, which is healthy for every type of relationship.
