This Vegan Drunken Salsa is a tasty dip that is great for parties or get-togethers. This salsa recipe has a new twist thanks to the tequila.
Ingredients: 4 large tomatoes, diced. 1 onion, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 jalapeo pepper, seeded and finely chopped. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1/4 cup tequila. 2 tablespoons lime juice. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped jalapeo, and cilantro. Stir in tequila and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled with your favorite vegan tortilla chips.
