Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of Pepper Jack cheese. 1 red onion, thinly sliced. 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Lettuce leaves for garnish. Tomato slices for garnish. Pickles for garnish.
Instructions: On both sides, salt and pepper the steak fillets. Warm up the grill or grill pan over high heat. For medium-rare, grill the steak fillets for three to four minutes on each side. You can cook them longer if you like them more done. Take them off the grill and give them a minute to rest. Set the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat while the steak rests. It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking after adding the sliced onions and peppers until they are soft and slightly caramelized. Take it off the heat and set it aside. To make a tasty sauce, put minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and mayonnaise in a small bowl and mix them together. Spread a lot of the sauce on the bottom half of each hamburger bun before putting the sandwiches together. On top of the sauced bun, put a steak fillet that has been grilled. Put a piece of Pepper Jack cheese on top of the steak fillet. Add the onions and peppers that have been sauted on top. On top of the vegetables, put lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Add the top half of the bun to the sandwich to finish it off. If necessary, use a toothpick to hold it together. Pickles should be on the side of the Pepper Jack Steak Sandwiches.
