Please follow these steps to check and update your email address. If you don't know your password, or if your password is insecure, you will need to reset your password – which requires you to have access to your account's email address.
How do I check what my account’s email address is?
If you are logged in:
Go to your Preferences page (Select "Hi, [USERNAME]!" at the top of the page, and choose "My Preferences" from the drop-down list)
Click on the “Change Email” button at the top of the page
Your email address will be listed on that page, next to “Current email”
If you are not logged in:
Check your email account for recent emails from AO3, such as subscription notifications or kudos and comment emails.
Look at the “To:” field to see what email address is associated with your account.
You will need to enter this email address exactly as it is listed here in order to receive a password reset email.
How do I change my email address? What if I don't have access to my old email address?
You don't need access to your old email address to change it to a new one, as long as you also know your current password.
Log in
Go to your Preferences page (Select "Hi, [USERNAME]!" at the top of the page, and choose "My Preferences" from the drop-down list)
Click on the “Change Email” button at the top of the page
In both the “New email” and “Enter new email again” fields, enter an email address that you have access to
In the “Password” field, enter your current password
Click the “Confirm Email” button
On the next page, make sure that the banner displays the correct new email address
Click the "Yes, Confirm Email" button
Check your new email address for an email titled “[AO3] Confirm your email change”
Click on the confirmation link in that email, making sure to open it in a browser where you are already logged in
Go to the “Change Email” page and double-check that your “Current email” has been successfully updated.
If you still see the banner saying your email change is pending, the most likely reason for this is that you were logged out before you clicked the confirmation link. Make sure to log in to your account before following the email confirmation link, or open the link in a browser where you are already logged in.
I know my current password, but I'm afraid my password is insecure. How can I change my password to a stronger one?
First, refer to the above instructions for checking or updating your email address, so that you can receive a password reset in case your password is insecure. Then:
Log in
Go to your Preferences page (Select "Hi, [USERNAME]!" at the top of the page, and choose "My Preferences" from the drop-down list)
Click on the “Change Password” button at the top of the page
Enter your current password into the “Old password” field
Enter your new password into both the “New password” and “Confirm new password” fields
Click the “Change Password” button
You will be automatically logged out on all devices.
If, upon logging in, you receive a message saying your password is insecure, then the new password you chose was insecure and you can't use it to log back in. You will need to reset your password (refer to the below instructions) and select a more secure password this time. You can use a password generator to choose a stronger password.

In a private/incognito browser, go to the Reset Password page: https://archiveofourown.org/users/password/new (also available by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link on the login form)
Enter the email address associated with your AO3 account

Click the “use this link to create a new password” link in the email
Enter a new, secure password
You will be automatically logged in on this device, and automatically logged out on all other devices.

The most likely reasons the password reset didn't work are:
You are entering the wrong email address for your AO3 account. Refer to the above instructions on how to check what your account's email address is.
Your email provider is blocking emails from AO3 or sending them to spam/social folders. Search for an email titled “[AO3] Reset your password”.
Your email account doesn't have enough storage and can't receive new emails. You'll need to delete old emails, photos, or videos to empty your storage before requesting a password reset.
You requested multiple password resets in a short time period, resulting in either a “Retry later” page or the link in the first password reset email becoming invalid. Please wait at least one hour before trying again, only submit the form once, and make sure you are using the link in the most recent password reset email.
The new password you chose was insecure, so you can't use it to log back in. You will need to reset your password again and select a more secure password this time. You can use a password generator to choose a stronger password.

You will need to submit a Support ticket containing the following information:
your username

aka How to Walk the Protagonist's Path of Flowers. The story goes like this. A guy dies in the real world, is incarnated into the world of a game he was playing as one of the villains, ranked the lowest rank in the setting, and using his knowledge of the game and his cleverness, manages to raise a team of heroes and rise to the top.
The 'trickster' character is known as Na Yuhan and the world of the game is the standard 'gates to other dimensions open and release monsters or become gateways to dungeons that the Awakened (people who have super powers) deal with for the good of humanity'.
You can tell he's a villain character originally because his gloves say 'evil but sexy'.
Whatever - this story isn't about him.
This story is about Kang Nahyun.
Yeah. Yeah, that's her in the background.
You see, Nahyun was ALSO incarnated into the same world as the trickster where she grew up in an orphanage, the lowest rank Awakened, without much hope of bettering things for her or the other orphans. She knows how the story goes as well - because this isn't a game without someone reincarnated into it. It's actually a story about the trickster being reincarnated into the game. That's right - our girl has read the book that the trickster is living through for the first time. She knows he's reincarnated, she knows what he's going to do -
well, most of it. She only read the book because a friend recommended it in her last life and she dropped it halfway through...
I'm sure that's not going to be a problem in the future.
Anyway, our girl knows this is a story and one that the trickster is going to twist to suit himself. And she's good with that.
In fact - she' GREAT with that!
Because she is going to use him as her golden ticket to ride all the way to the end on the flower path he's going to create. You see, the Yuhan comes from a VERY wealthy family and the trickster that's now in his body is very generous about using that wealth to raise his teammates to the highest rank and shower them with useful items and the best dungeon rewards. By herself, Nahyun doesn't have many prospects, she's a low rank and she's a Sniper type attacker that really doesn't do well without team support. But if the trickster chooses her as one of his teammates -
golden path for her AND the other orphans, here we come!
The trick is - her character doesn't appear in the original story. She's not one of the teammates the trickster chooses. So she comes up with a plan. Going over what she remembers of the story, she finds one character archetype that isn't represented and goes about filling that role. And that role?
Our girl is going to be the Sunshine Character.
Granted, she is not a sunshine kind of person but - well, all the other roles she could try are already filled and she can pretend to be innocent, naive and golden-retriever coded if that gets her what she wants. It's just customer service masking after all.
The trickster of course doesn't recognize her from the game but after she beams her sunshine brightness at him a bit - and proves how useful she can be - he decides maybe she's a hidden character he never knew about and things start rolling.
But wait! There's more!
So a while back @remingtxon asked me if I knew any other manhwa that went meta like I Thought It Was a Common Isekai when it came to the story being an active part of the plot and - hey!! I found us one!
Because Nahyun starts seeing status windows. Status windows that let her both read the 'story' as its being written as well as the comments readers leave for each new update. And each time she gets attention from the readers she earns meta points.
Meta points she can use for all kinds of useful cheats the game doesn't offer anyone else. So its not just about manipulating the trickster now - its also about manipulating her role in the story so that she gets reader attention and those sweet, sweet meta points that go with it.
Seriously, this is such a FUN idea to watch a story play with! Now the manhwa is just getting rolling, there's a little over twenty chapters that I've found so far, but I am having so much fun with it! First off I love Nahyun. Our girl is smart and grounded and she's got a good heart but she has no issues at all with manipulating the story anyway she needs to in order to benefit the orphanage and watching her slap on her 'Sunshine' persona is - dang, customer service flashbacks.
She's not the only interesting character though. The trickster is getting a lot of really nice depth too but not just him. The other teammates are starting to flesh out nicely as well. I find all of them interesting and I'm enjoying both them and the dynamic that's starting to build for the entire team. I like the trickster. I like the trickster's sister. I even like the cat girl (at this point).
And I love this guy.
Park Jinwoo. The original hero of the game. Gosh, he hasn't had much to do so far but he's hit every one of my 'I need to adopt this character NOW' buttons. (I am going to be so SO disappointed when our girl doesn't end up with him, gang. I'm hoping very hard the story pulls a twist on me I'm not anticipating)
Anyway, this is a super fun story so far. It's delightful watching our girl think 'what would the story do' and roll with the answer. I get excited to see each new chapter. The story is following the standard fare enough that its familiar but that just makes all the 'how to manipulate the story' parts so much more enjoyable. And - I'm not sure how long this will last - but so far all three of the girls that have been introduced get along really well with each other and its refreshing to see a manhwa where the female lead's main problem isn't another woman.
Or in this case the secondary female lead. Our girl isn't interested in winnning - she just wants the golden ticket.
