â Am I too late to the pencil party, perhaps?/ ? If I'm not could I request, maybe, a Manami? if its cool i mean
never too lateunless youâre manamithen ur not invited
Candy stash found out | Motive Reaction | Open
If she bothered enough to, Manami might have let out a sigh. Of course nothing was going to stay good, not in a stingy place like this. Still, she was a little annoyed this time. Just as she was about to go and maybe see what Midori was up to...'That cobra better have something good to say', she thought.
Manami looked at the motive messages. Huh. So you didn't know who they belonged to, huh? If that was the case...The typist only shrugged in response. It didn't particularly matter much to her.
Or...did it? If you looked hard enough, one could tell there was definitely something weighing on her mind.
"...So...This is it? How lame...These are all pointless. They have to be..."
She didn't finish, but she didn't turn to walk away either. She just kinda stood there as some of the others may have dispersed, going over her own thoughts.Â
We meet again | Closed for Midori
Oh, so she agreed! For some reason Midori felt like she wouldnât. Why she got that feeling, she wasnât sure. What a total misconception. Maybe it was because she could be so quiet.
"Okay, letâs do thiâ whoa!" She tripped over the a chair, falling backwards into it. Convenient, seeing as how that could have easily spiraled into a disaster.
"Iâm okay!"
She slowly tried to sit up, and ended up falling out of the chair. She cursed when she landed on her knees, though she hopped up a moment later. It was almost as if she were a little kid, messing around, getting hurt, then resuming her play.
She snatched up a random nail polish color in attempt to cover her up accident.
"I meant to do that?" she said. "I was gonna grab this nail polish. I think itâd look good on yâ oh." Itâs a bright, obnoxious yellow color. "Okay, maybe you should pick out your own color."
The most surprise and shock Manami could've mustered up came in the form of her eyes widening a little, and her eyebrows going up in such a way that almost made her look more curious than anything. She was about to go and see how her companion had been affected by this, but the exclamation of "I'm okay!" reassured her enough.
Manami could really only watch as the rest of the scene unfolded with the look of mild disinterest that seemed to be her eternal expression. She wasn't convinced that Midori had, in fact, meant to do that.
She looked at the nail polish for a good minute. It was indeed, quite an unappealing shade of yellow. It would certainly not mix well with her pink ensemble. However, the typist did appreciate the gesture itself, even if it was faux. Maybe if you looked really hard, you might find her lips curved the most minuscule degree upwards
She looked on for a nicer shade. As she looked through all the options, she figured this would be a good time to respond. As her eyes scanned around in search, she asked,
"What color do you like? Do you really think yellow would look good? I prefer pink...But you seem to know how to make things look nice."
Now that Setsuko was sadly deceased, Midori had taken up the number one spot on the cuteness list. Perhaps if an expert was suggesting something, it would be a good idea to take it into account.
We meet again | Closed for Midori
Oh, so she was going to the salon as well? How convenient. Midori smiled warmly. Manami was pretty cute, she thought, but in an elegant way. She liked her hair.
"Yeah, I am! Do you want to come with me?"
Thatâd be fun â painting nails together. A good bonding experience. Which was why Midori took off without waiting for an answer. She opted for walking backwards so she could still talk to Manami. That and make sure the other girl didnât run away. She walked slowly, though, careful not to misstep and fall over.
"I think itâll be fun. We can paint each otherâs nails. Iâve painted my nails a couple times before, but I accidentally spilled nail polish all over my clothes Ehahahah!"
That had been a disaster, but hopefully this wouldnât be.
Manami pondered over the question. She didn't think such a thing was a group activity, but then again, she didn't even know how painting nails even worked! Besides, if Midori was going to be nice enough to actually invite her to do something, she wasn't about to turn her down.
It didn't look like she'd even have a chance to turn her down, as Midori began to go off already. Manami found it curious as walking backwards was  generally not a normal practice, but she also found it kind of endearing. She followed along at a steady pace, so as to keep the conversation going.
"Fun? That does sound like...fun. I've never painted my nails. Maybe you could show me how. I'm sure you won't spill them again. That...wouldn't be fun."
She wasn't sure exactly how much fun it could really be, but Midori made it sound like it would certainly be a ride. Manami shrugged in reaction. Maybe it actually would be for once.

We meet again | Closed for Midori
Nothing like waking up in a large supermarket to put a positive spin on your day. ..Kind of. Midori wasnât quite sure what to think. Well, she was thinking something, but she wasnât sure if it was the correct something to thing.
She was still rather shaken up from the trial. Would that be acceptable? Probably not. Which was why she put on her best game face and decided to go scope out the area. After scrolling through her ID, she figured she might as well explore the nail salon. After all, she hadnât ever been in one!
On her way there, though, she ended up running into that girl. The violet-not-purple-haired one.
"Hey, kiddo!"
Kiddo. Was that some sort of nickname? Manami figured so. Granted, it kinda made sense, she guessed. Ah well, best not to dwell on small details for too long.Â
"So. Are you going to the...nail salon? I am. Want to learn how it works."
Manami thought Midori looked excited enough. Maybe she would share some bit of information that could. The pink-clad girl wasn't really sure what to expect from the other, but she wasn't particularly uninterested either. To put it simply, no matter what answer she got she would at least tolerate her presence
We meet again | Closed for Midori
Um. That was different. Manami didn't quite expect such a sudden change of atmosphere. Upon waking up, she immediately began to look around and take in her surroundings. It was rather unappealing compared to the previous theme park.
Malwart. This was Malwart. Gross.
At least it was still sorta pink? That was a slight relief. Ultimately, Manami still couldn't find herself actually caring too much to make a fuss about it. As always, her expression was that of boredom and neutrality.
Her purple orbs swept around the immediate area, looking for something the slightest bit more interesting than the rest. She then looked down as her ID pinged, and looked over that instead. There was a nail salon?
Well...why not, right? Might as well start somewhere. With that thought in mind, she began to meander over. Things were going well until she noticed someone else nearby as well. Hey, it was one of the cute girls. She recognized her well enough.
She approached the taller girl and greeted her curtly.
"Hi."
(( does anyone wanna rp perhaps?? ))
Aaaay, I doodled Manami in my notebook a few days ago and decided to actually make it a thing! I was hoping to post it before the trial butÂ

Old 2004 candy still inside the packaging | Body Reaction
Yawn, snore, snooze, bluh. This was all incredibly boring, but then again, what wasn't these days? Manami didn't care when people were getting erased from the world or whatever, and proceeded to have mediocre days ahead.
She didn't appreciate being woken up, but shrugged and quickly forgot about her annoyance as she made her way to the bottom of the staircase. Oh, wow, someone actually died? Man...That was something, huh?
What caught her attention more than anything was what the cobra was saying. Investigate a murder? What were they, cops now or something? What a turn of events. So, they were actually going to have to do something about this. Great.
Honestly, taking a ride on the roller coaster seemed to be rather appealing at the moment. She rolled her eyes then stared down at the body. Yeah, she recognized this guy. She recalled having a few awkward conversations with him, but he wasn't really interesting.Â
"...You died from something like that? Talk about unimpressive... "

catching fire | motive 1 | reaction/open
If she was going to take a long time to approach, he was going to take a long time to react. Between her and thatâŚthat girl with the super cool curly hair bits, they were all personified tortoises here. No one would even be able to commit a murder, they were all too slow. Their cries for help would be in slow-motion too, and no one would hear them. Compromise: lots of murder attempts, very slow chase scenes, all doomed to fail. Not that he was thinking about murder right now. Of course not.
âŚOh, wait, there was somebody there. How long had she been there, anyway. ââŚRight?â They were going to get trapped in this questioning loop forever. âRâŚyeah, like. Uh. I donât know, I was just kinda, uhhh, talking to. Myself. But I could talk to youâŚtoo?â
Itâs not like he could stop now, they were already talking, dingus. And he was liable to forget how this conversation started within the next few minutes, leaving them as inseparable as a ship and a barnacle who was in need of a restraining order. ââŚI donât really knowâŚwhat to talk about though.â
While it seemed Mizuki had a lot of thoughts on people's pacing (not that Manami knew that), Manami didn't seem to care about how long he took in return. She just kinda stood in place, waiting and waiting without doing anything. Maybe he'd respond faster if Manami actually did something to catch his attention, but that thought didn't seem to go through her head.
At this point, she didn't want to get stuck in a boring loop of 'right' for eternity. How boring would that be? Wait, did he say he wanted to speak with her? Okay, he didn't really say that exactly, but it was half implied. Manami just got awkward vibes from this guy, but it's not like she hasn't seen a million other people like that before. "How about we talk about...murder? What do you think of it? Killing...?"
It was the first topic that popped into her head when she attempted to think of something, so she just rolled with it. To give the conversation more of a kick, she added, "I think that killing is...kind of. You?" That was not a typo and she really did just say she thought killing was kind of. Your move, Mizuki.
catching fire | motive 1 | reaction/open
The whole concept of the motive announcement, and then the announcement itself, was way too bizarre for Mizuki to handle. In all honesty, he spent most of the time watching the snake and not listening to what it had to say, but he caught most of the pertinent pointsâblah blah, ssomeoneâss got to kill, lose all your fame and fortune, blah blah, lots of hissing. Someone needed to take that thing to speech therapy.
By the time everyone was able to mill around and talk again, Mizuki still stood alone, smoothing down the front of his jacket and trying to puzzle out what kind of bizarre meaning this held. Surely the thing couldnât actually turn people invisible, but it couldnât take away anybodyâs fame or anything either, it was just a snake. Not that he had much to begin with. Mizukiâs own recognition levels were at an all-time low, maybe for the whole schoolâhis name was in the news a few times if he was mentioned at all, and his face was a totally anonymous one, sad to say. Maybe if he was more famous he wouldnât have to keep explaining his dumb talent. Either wayâŚthe whole mean aspect of the show was ratcheting up for sure, but that didnât mean he had anything to worry about, right? Right.
"Right," he said out loud, just to make doubly sure. The beatific smile had flickered during the announcement, but now it was back in full force, directed at nothing in particular. Sometime soon theyâd get their funny reaction and then everybody could go home. He was positive.
Someone else was just standing there, it seemed. That, surprisingly, stood out to Manami. She recognized the face, and recalled their rather brief conversation in the beginning. As though the motive hadn't been in her thoughts at all, she took a few moments just to watch Mizuki. A simple statement and a smile, just like Manami save for the smile.
After feeling like she had gotten the details of his position down, she approached him. As always, it took her a minute to actually say something. "Right?" Manami echoed questioningly, a look of rather mild confusion on her face.
She was the slightest bit curious as to what he was saying 'Right' for. He wasn't look off to the right, and he wasn't really moving anything to the right. Did he mean right as in just? Did he consider this situation just? She hoped her questions would be answered quickly and sufficiently, at least.
Unfitting appetizer | Motive Reaction | Open
Manami followed along with everything silently but complacently. She had no protest whatsoever to the events going on. She had been generally staying in one place doing essentially nothing with her free time, after all.
She almost reacted when Monocobra talked about losing all their work. Oh, how that would sting. If he actually meant their actual work. From the way he was speaking, he implied it was just their public status that would disappear. What did Manami care about public status? Was she even very well known, especially compared to the others? Most likely no.Â
"...Kay." That was it. That was all she could bring herself to say. She waited a moment after the word escaped her to let it register with anyone who might've paid any attention to her. Once she was satisfied, she turned around and left.
Sweet mood turned sour | Monocobra Reaction | Open
Maaan, this was weird. What was all this about killing? Wait⌠killing? No way! Kazeno wouldnât kill someone in a million years! He couldnât imagine that anyone else here would want to either! These kids were like⌠in high school!
Okay, but he digresses, this is a really good freshman prank. Whoeverâs pulling it is really making him start to believe that theyâre actually supposed to kill people. When were the upperclassmen going to jump out and totally make him feel embarrassed for even believing a second of what that python said?
When Monopython is done talking, Kazeno just stands in there with his arms crossed and stares at where the robot took its leave, snickering to himself. He barely seems to notice Manami until she bumps into him! Upon contact, he steps back a little bit and arches an eye brow at the girl. What? Thatâs all she said? What? He thought she might apologize or something, but⌠okay?
"What? What. What, what, what? What do you mean by what?"
He shrugs and puts his hands in his pockets. Maybe that was too many whats.
Manami seemed unimpressed at Kazeno's response. Or, at least, she wasn't any more so than she normally was.
"That was four too many whats. Five if you only wanted to ask. What do you want from me?"
Her last question was delivered in a way that indicated mild curiosity as opposed to aggression. It also gave Manami an opportunity to the little head tilt thing. At least, she thought that was kind of cute. She wondered what Kazeno thought for a brief moment.

Sweet mood turned sour | Monocobra Reaction | Open
Talk about a long day leading up to something going as fast in the blink of an eye. It might have at least gave Zara whiplash with how fast things were going. First the dancing. It seemed that she was paired up with a pink-haired kid she had never seen before. It didnât really matter though, did it?Â
Why didnât it matter? Because of their seemingly unwanted guest. Well, it was unwanted by one of them, at least. Everyone else seemed⌠indifferent about what was going on. Even when Monocobra exiled their previous hostess. Oh dear.
Strange, the other animal seemed to be made out of similar materials, or⌠was at least metallic in some way. Zara would decide that she would at least listen to this one, since she already put up with the other one.
Upon watching and listening to the creature, her face turned into one of confusion. It seemed to be doing that quite a bit lately. What was this whole thing about killing each other? Targets? Yeah, Zara didnât think anyone would actually do that sort of thing. These people might be a little bit out there, including herself, but none of them could really⌠achieve such a thing.
Silence fell over the group of kids after that. Though doubtful, there was still an unstable air to the room. One girl spoke up. It was someone Zara hadnât seen before. She spoke, and it was almost as the purple-haired girl spoke for the two of them, if not all students in this room.
Still, Zara wanted to sound like she knew what was going on. So, she went up and simply spoke to her, as if nothing were as stress-fully put onto them.
"Ah.. I do fear that I am just as confused as you are." Looking at her more clearly, she looked pretty frightened by what the annoying snake stated.
Manami was just about to get going when all of a sudden this person just up and goes over to her to talk. Well. It's not like it was a bad thing, really, but Manami wasn't the most excited. There were way too many people here for her liking in the first place but hey...maybe some aren't so bad? "Confused?" Manami echoed. Was she really? If it were for the same reasons as Manami, which the purple-haired girl first assumed, she decided to take more note of this person. Then again, from her expression, she didn't quite think that was the case.
"Yeah...I don't see we should have to go through this. There's no reason to," Came her properly reply, accompanied with an uninterested kind of shrug.
Sweet mood turned sour | Monocobra Reaction | Open
That was a series of things that happened. Manami remained relatively disinterested in the beginning, though she absolutely hated being paired up with somebody for dancing. Especially Toshi. She'd much rather have someone nice like Tamashi dance with her, but she made no audible protest.
At least it didn't last that long. Manami couldn't even be bothered to respond to the lights going out then coming back on in an ominous and foreboding shade of red. Wait a sec. Was that a snake? Or, a cobra, she guessed, but that was still kind of a snake, wasn't it?
It...was a robot. That was disappointing. Manami much preferred living snakes as opposed to fake, fake, animatronic ones. Still, she was sort of curious and was now watching things unfold more attentively. Ouch, that's gotta smart for Monogoose, huh? That was a little embarrassing.
Frankly, Manami didn't have much inclination to leave this place. However, when the word 'killing' was mentioned she narrowed her eyes. Killing...? Her attention was focused solely on the cobra and his words.
What did she do upon the new robot's departure? It was hard to read Manami's expression, and she made nary a single movement for anyone inept at reading body language. After a long, long pause, all she whispered was a single word.
"Killing...?"
She took a few steps backward. Not necessarily stumbling back or anything, but just kind walking back like she was trying to sneak out of the place. She didn't realize there was someone there, though, and ended up walking right into someone else!Â
Alright, who was it that was standing there in the first place? Manami slowly turned around to face them, the same expression on as before.
"What?"
