Sooooo where was he for her entire pregnancy? Where was her baby bump? Why is she in a busy part of New York now? Math still ain’t mathing.
And THAT is why so many of us thought this wasn't real. I'm not going to rewrite three years of history just because we finally got one definitive answer today.
He was clearly working and filming during that period. She traveled to Portugal for her sister's wedding while roughly six months pregnant (if surrogacy wasn't used), while he didn't attend. Massachusetts was supposedly home base, yet she lives in NYC. The public timeline never made much sense to a lot of us. We didn't see an obvious pregnancy. There were a million little inconsistencies that people have been arguing about for years.
And even today, what's interesting to me is what he actually confirmed he has a child. That's it. He didn't talk about them becoming parents, how they're adjusting, his wife as a mother, or their experience having a baby. His language was about him and his child.
The one thing I can say definitively now is that Chris has a child. I accept that because it came directly from him. Everything beyond that? I still have questions, and frankly today's confirmation didn't answer most of them.
If anything, the way he spoke about it only reinforced something I've been noticing for a long time he consistently presents this part of his life as “me” rather than “us.” And that remains interesting to me.
