“...or is that only for my King?  Youpi hadn’t thought that perhaps a special attention towards the foods might be a privilege only for the most Supreme Ant.   How dreadful to tread in such sacred territory.. how inappropriate.  It was possible his thinking was wrong however, and the ant held to this hope.   That little glowy human was his favorite thing to think about.  He wanted to keep it for always.

“Y-You’re going to have to lie to your diary!!”

“Uhh, you okay there buddy? You didn’t hit your head somewhere?”

{☠}   “I am very well.”  Youpi answered.  He developed glorious wings for the small one to gaze upon.  Perhaps the tiny meat needed to be wooed. “You are my favored one.”

“I ate some meat yesterday night, why?”

{☠} “Mmm.  As I thought.  You have a different smile the few days after feeding on human.”

{☠}  Youpi squatted and shit while maintaining eye contact with the food.

“Chill a bit, would ya?”

{☠} Transforms.  Screeches.  

Gon looked up at the one he knew to be a Royal Guard, his superior.  He remembered.  Gon remembered who he was.. and what had happened.  They’d made him a monster.. He attacked Youpi.  In such close proximity with little warning, surely he’d deal some damage to the foe.

{☠} Youpi easily caught his subordinate’s strike and landed one of his own, rendering the failed experiment unconscious.  Flinging it over his shoulder he returned to the palace. “Just in time brother.  See what a fine new soldier I’ve made!”  Pitou clapped it’s hands together and pranced around in front of Kite.

“What are you carrying?” He asked Youpi.

“It’s broken.”     “What happened?” “It failed to carry out it’s orders, and then attacked me.” Pitou cocked it’s head to the side and frowned. Perhaps it would be wise to test the other soldier right away for flaws.  Looking at Kite, the feline-ant pointed to Gon’s body.       “Eat it.”

               ❝ Youpi. What do you think you’re doing? ❞

{☠}   “........the same as you, my King.”  It was difficult to answer, but the Royal Guard would obey all things.

{☠}  “Maybe if you didn’t play hard to get.. they would have left us to our own devices.”

{☠}   “COME ON!”  Truly no one had even come close to equaling him in strength, but this little glowy human stole his heart with it’s impressive speed.

               I suppose if it were necessary, but I don’t see that happening               in the future. ❞
