Later that day the cocoon shook. And then it broke in half, and a tall ant with golden dog years. 

Gon looked up at the one he knew to be a Royal Guard, his superior.  He remembered.  Gon remembered who he was.. and what had happened.  They’d made him a monster.. He attacked Youpi.  In such close proximity with little warning, surely he’d deal some damage to the foe.

Youpi easily caught his subordinate’s strike and landed one of his own, rendering the failed experiment unconscious.  Flinging it over his shoulder he returned to the palace. “Just in time brother.  See what a fine new soldier I’ve made!”  Pitou clapped it’s hands together and pranced around in front of Kite.

"What are you carrying?" He asked Youpi.

Pitou grinned.  The human had survived it’s blow.  “Nyow.  Better get you started mmm?”  The ant picked up the man and placed him in a cocoon sac.  If he cooperated, closing it up and beginning the live human transformation would go very smoothly.  It would be the very first one!

Killua’s eyebrow twitched in annoyance at the sound of the man’s voice. His shift was about to end soon and with so many rude customers coming in recently, he wasn’t in the most pleasant mood. Even so, Killua whipped up a coffee for him and asked for his name to write on the cup. A devilish smirk crept up along the sides of Killua’s lips as he wrote “chyte“ for the man named Kite. “Enjoy your coffee, sir!”, Killua exclaimed in a sarcastically cheerful tone. 

In all honesty, this was the 3rd job he had lost in a month. 

"Maybe I could get you a new job."

“Hah! Now you wanna back down.” 

The ribbon eel or Bernis eel, is a species of moray eel. The presumed juveniles and subadults are jet black with a yellow dorsal fin, in adult males the black is replaced by blue, and adult females are entirely yellow or yellow with some blue to the posterior.

Kite gasped, “Wait, I think you need to control yourself more!” 

Kite was flung across the room from the kick, but got up quickly. He felt dizzy, but was still able to hold his ground. But he didn’t know how long he would last. 

Kite put a hand on his hip, “Will everyone just stop asking that? and no I don’t!” 

Kite laughed, “That’s true. Have you heard that Ging tried to find ways to me with Gon alone, but then he met him in front of all the hunters?”  

Kite winced, and jolted his head toward the ant. He didn’t say anything, and waited for them to finish.
