ShoreShot, is a performing artist/songwriter/lyricist hailing from the Garden State of NJ. The communication major graduated from Western Carolina University and did shows on and off campus throughout North Carolina in his time there as a college student. In July of 2010, ShoreShot released his debut album entitled "Slowly but Shorely", which was quickly adopted as an underground soundtrack along the Jersey Shore that summer. Linking up with NJ-based singer/producer, EWald, shortly afterwards, the two hit the studio and began collaborating on ShoreShot's sophomore offering. The result was "The ProgreSS Report (2012)" - a melodic and dynamic journey of HipPopSoulRock rooted in diversity, crowned with originality, and laced with talent. It's a 20 track rocket ship that will take you wherever you want to go, powered by undeniable hits like "One Request (DJ)" and "Steal Her". In 2013, ShoreShot released a Hurricane Sandy Relief record featuring EWald and the ROBMS (Russell O Brackman Middle School l Barnegat, NJ) chorus called, "Sho Love". The song was created to benefit local families badly affected by the superstorm, where 100% of the online mp3/single proceeds were donated by ShoreShot to Holy Family St. Vincent de Paul Society in Union Beach, NJ. ShoreShot teamed up with faculty and students from several local elementary and middle schools, including West Belmar Elementary School (Belmar, NJ), Central Elementary School (Wall, NJ), and Emma Havens Elementary School (Brick, NJ). By a joint effort, ShoreShot was able to help coordinate fundraisers with each school, and donate more proceeds to local hurricane victims. In August 2015, ShoreShot unleashed his third album entitled, "Return of the Tide," highlighted by instrumentation from hip hop blapmaster Illmind (producer for Eminem, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Joell Ortiz, etc) and Eric G from 9th Wonder's Soul Council (producer for Sean Price, Rapsody, L.O.X, etc). The microphone coast guard rises to the occasion once again, combining his new production with his persevering lyric and determined spirit. From the hard-hitting opener, "Sho Forth," to the nostalgic, retrospective ode to 90's Hip Hop, "Is She Long Gone," to the laid back, "listen after a long day," "Long Way," the seascribe, shores truly, will take you on another spin for the win. ShoreShot continues to perform at venues/colleges throughout the MidAtlantic region and has opened for acts such as Masta Ace, Smif N Wessun, Inspectah Deck, Maino, Nappy Roots, and more. College venues include East Stroudsburg University (PA), Iona College (NY), Ramapo College (NJ), Harrisburg Community College (PA), Pratt Institute (NY), and Western Carolina University (NC). ShoreShot has continued to work with local elementary and middle schools in Monmouth and Ocean County New Jersey, creating ways to give back to his community with students through his music. ShoreShot created a theme song for Elite UFC fighter and Jersey native, Frankie "The Answer" Edgar. The music video released on Facebook and Instagram in March 2015, collected well over one hundred thousand views in a month, and was picked up by every major MMA blog throughout the country. In March of 2016, ShoreShot released a new single, "Ish Smith," inspired by the NBA basketball player/point guard, currently a Detroit Piston. The lyrical blend of music and basketball content will catch you off guard, and draw you in by the words being dished. ShoreShot's, "I Might Just Ballout Like Ish Smith" t-shirt became the same shirt Ish and all of his counselors would wear that summer for his basketball camp held in his hometown of Concord, NC. In May of 2016, ShoreShot collaborated with the ROBMS middle school chorus and Erich Wald again, this time donating all music sales generated to Ocean of Love, an organization for children with cancer in Toms River, NJ. The name of the song is, "Strong." ShoreShot's single,"Todd Frazier,"(released on 10/21/16) is nothing short of a grand slam, inspired by the MLB/Jersey Shore Legend. The lyrics create an 'audio' biographical experience for the listener, and the message will keep you as engaged as extra innings would at the ballpark! ShoreShot's fourth album entitled, Extra Credit" w/ EWald, released on 7.717. It's a remarkable mixture of hip hop, rhythm & soul, and jazz, with a song for everyone on it.
