I used to love Lidl stores. However, they have gotten more expensive per the past few months.
Kettle Korn Pop Corn by their own company went from $1.65 to $1.95. They don't sell as many now. The last time I bought them, they were stale.
The bakery went up too. Sometimes it is $0.99 but apparently donuts are going up up and up.
On top of that, there's one store near me that does NOT have self check out. They only have 1 cashier, and a very long line. Thankfully Shop Rite opened up down the street with self check out.
They renamed their app too, which comes out the 15th. They make it sound like it is a brand new app with BETTER stuff. Its pretty much the same except different name.
Clothes Shopping ..
Its what everyone does. But it's insane how hot they keep their stores. I sweat a lot while trying on clothes especially if it's hot out. What is the stores logic? Keep the a.c off so people sweat on the clothes they try on?
Imagine that piece of article you try on...how many people, sweating because the stores won't put the a.c on, tried it on before you?
Also.
Plus size fashion is now like a mullet because companies want to save a few pennies. Longer material in the back, shorter in the front....really?
I also noticed that there's no plus size fashion section anywhere anymore...because skinny people complained we too have our own section. Walmart does it, Marshalls does it, and Burlington.
Its sad. It truly is.
Yahtzee is expensive. But reality, you just need 5 dice and score sheets....print them out yourself on your printer, or create a permanent board with a dry erase board or chalk board.
If you travel a lot and use your phone as your camera, this is a must buy. Its a god send.
Its a USB converter thingy, you can get at most electronic stores. You also need a USB stick. You can easily copy your photos and videos to a USB stick to free up space for the next day/adventure.
Say you're in Disney World and take loads of photos, but your phone is almost full, you copy your days worth of photos and videos onto a stick via this thingy, and then you can delete the photos off...or the photos you don't want at least.
Your photos and videos are saved on the USB stick. Also its faster to upload photos to a computer, instead of Blutooth or using the cord from your phone.

Found this at a mom and pop dollar store... I tried it today. Unlike coffee, the powder inside dissolved in little amount of water. So pretty much you are supposed to water it down.
I decided to use 2 for my tumblr. Each has 70 calories. It tastes good. But I didn't expect the powder inside to dissolve completely. Lol. Thought it was more like coffee grinds.
That is what I got today... Spent $19.87 for everything. The magazines by Highlight were originally $14.99 but I got them for $1.50. The coloring books, I saw at walgreens a month ago, but today I found them for $1.50 so I got two.
I found the refreshers for $4.99 (not $16.00 off Amazon), and the baking mats were $5.99...3 comes in the pack. I have been looking for them forever.
Found these at a mom and pop dollar plus store, I rarely go to because it is a drive.
I went shopping at Aldi's today. It's store I love and hate at the same time. Shrinkflation Central, Inflation Central. Weirdo Central.
Today, was Weirdo Central. I got on line for the cashier and put 1 thing on the conveyor belt, when the lady behind me starts putting her things on it too. WTF lady. The guy in front of me refused to move up in line for some odd reason, because if he did I would give the lady in back of me more Freaking room.
She was all up in my space, reaching around me to put her stuff on the conveyor belt, and then she gets out of line to get more stuff. Why do people get on line if they continue to shop? Not right in my book.
Many times if someone in front of me, gets out of line to get more items, I often times just cut ahead of them. Sorry, not sorry. Sometimes they do make a stink and I just ignore them. Once or twice they tried shoving me, I just shoved them back with my butt. LOL. Yeah. I'm not sorry.
I had issues with people at Aldi's. Once a guy claimed I was cutting in line when the cashier asked us to form 2 lines... The guy called Me names and such. Wouldn't shut up. So I called the guy a pedophile LOUDLY. And asked him "why do you like little boys?" LOUDLY and people looked at him.
He finally shut up, and guess what.... NOT SORRY.
Thrift stores are your best friend when you need office supplies.
I went to Walmart looking for photo albums, they wanted $10.00 for one that held 100 photos. Too much. So I decided to keep my eye out at thrift stores... Like today.
I ended up with 4 albums, although 1 is more a scrapbook. It was ina combo pack 2 for $2.99 ($1.50 each), the other album held 200 photos.
Found a album that holds 500 photos, made in the use for $1.99 and its brand new.
I also got 7, three ring binders for $4.00.
I also got 12 note pads for $2.00 and a box of address labels for $2.99. The box says 7,500 labels but given it was in a thrift store, it was used...but still heavy so I bought it.
If it is missing sheets, its not missing too many. It might even be brand new. But I'm not going to be counting all the sheets. There is a LOT of sheets there. Its probably a good 5,500 or even 6,000 labels still.
Ebay!!!
We recently purchased something on ebay. It was kind of expensive. $35.00 it said used. Lesson Learned: Always inspect pictures clearly for defects. Not all sellers will put the defects in the description.
I will be rating a neutral feedback next week, because apparently EBAY needs you to wait 7 days to leave neutral or negative, hoping you forget about leaving feedback.
I'm not forgetting. I'm putting it on my phone's calendar and alarm too.
I guess people want buyers to believe everyone is a stand up citizen on ebay selling. LOL.
Be very cautionary before BUYING on Ebay.

Best $12.90 I spent?
Last year I got a laptop through work. A 2025 Lenovo Yoga 2 in 1, so of course it didn't come with a CD drive. I was in the market for an external/portable drive. I happen to be somewhat lucky and found one at a thrift store.
I learned this came out in 2017, so I was iffy about buying it for $12.90...which is kind of expensive at a cash only thrift store. I am also not so lucky when it comes electronics of any kind. I bought a Dell laptop in 2010 and only used it 2-3x since it has an annoying ringing sound. (no one will fix it in today's world).
Anyway, I also noticed that Best Buy still sells this IN STORE. So i guess it would work with my lenovo. right? I have been quite busy with work/life that I hadn't gotten around to checking it out until today. I wouldn't been able to return it either with their no return policy at the thrift store.
i gotten some music CDs donated to the archive room i work at. So i decided why not try it. Does it work fully?
It turned on, in the sense that it lite up + opened. It didn't require downloading any program either. THANK GOD. Then there was the question whether it would transfer data to and from the computer to read the disc (made by the high school, so it wasn't a store bought CD).
It works!!! Best $12.90 I spent.
I would recommend this item to anyone at least with windows. I have read reviews that it might not work with macintosh / apple computers.
My dad recently went to a Polish bakery or store and bought this price tag less pastry...it cost $9.00. no wonder they don't put tags on their stuff.
No one would buy it. Always ask what things cost. If they refuse to tell you or claim to not know, don't buy it.
Coffee.... It costs $0.50 to make but cafes cost $5+.
With Dunkin now $5.12 for a medium, I decided I no longer am going to use my money at that establishment.
The quality of the coffee stays the same while the prices keep rising. Then you have baristas not making it right...either too much ice or too much milk to lesson the coffee and flavor.
I tried to go to 7 Eleven again, but realized for a medium ice coffee you have to fill 3/4 of the cup with ice. LOL. I am not paying $1.99 for ice. So I left the cup of coffee on the table and walked out.
Another disappointment.
Staples SUCKS.
My mom ordered something from them online, to be picked up in the store. She asked me to pick it up for her on my outtings.
So I go and I have the email from our email to show them, and they need ID. HER i.d.is this at all staples or just the one store? Because this ONE store is getting on my nerves.
Manager is lazy AF, they lost my package I dropped off for UPS. And now they require I.D.
Id be surprised if they are against VOTER I.D because Staples seems to require ID for everything. Long Story short. Staples SUCKs and lost another PAYING customer
Walmart.com is NOT Walmart.
I learned that Walmart.com is not exactly Walmart. It has become like ebay. It sucks.
This chain store is also making money by allowing people to resell stuff on their website. Scammers, and what-not, when you think you are buying things straight from Walmart itself.
I learned that the hard way when I bought a program for video editing and it didn't work. The shipper didn't even use packaging and the box came dented, The box only had instructions with a license key, and despite the listing saying it was new, it was previously registered. WTF is wrong with Walmart?

External phone keyboards. I remember I traded my original razr in for a phone with a keyboard that slide out. Some days I regret trading it in. But at the time phones with keyboards were a thing.
Now we have touch screen, talk to text capabilities. But from time to time I like an actual keyboard. I bought a new keyboard yesterday from amazon that I am using now. I have to get use to where the keys are.
It is gray or silver with black buttons... One thing I love about this keyboard is that it folds up!!!
It is slim. Very versitile for on the go. And it was only $17.99. It got 4.2 stars too. My last amazon keyboard did not work out. It lasted 1 day before it broke. It was flimsy. But it did only cost $8.
I do have to get used to where the keys are. Since it does have a foldable middle. It connected somewhat easy via Bluetooth. It is rechargable. My first keyboard from Walmart took AAA batteries which can be expensive.
Walmart Clearance
I was at Walmart today, checked in the Clearance isle, and they had a lot of "Stranger Things" figures. They had the yellow "Clearance" price tag of $31.95 but it did NOT have a previous price on the tag.
It seems Walmart has decided to put "Clearance" tags on a lot of NON CLEARANCE items, to fool the customer into thinking they are getting a great price.
I even saw the clearance tag on the candy at the register. $1.96. No previous price on the yellow tag. A week ago it was $1.96 too. No sale. Just Scams.
Be Careful at Walmart. "Clearance Tag, doesn't always mean it's a sale.
-----
Another thing about Walmart, they don't care about your privacy either. I had to cancel a curb side pick up because the app wasnt' working. I bought underwear.
A week or two later, i saw THAT underwear with the sticker with MY name and iNFO on it, on display for sale. It was embarrassing. So i ended up buying that bag, so people wouldn't have my info.
