Working through the resistance of the stiff textile, I built this piece slowly—stitch over stitch—until it came together as a single composition, now framed at a size that holds a quiet presence.

Up close, the details reveal themselves in fine intricacy.

Step back, and the flow of the pattern begins to emerge.

Measuring 20 × 40 cm,

it settles gently into a space while maintaining a distinct presence.
