Iâm trying to learn more about Iran and your post ab the coup seemed well informedâwould you be able to share any articles/journals/books/even podcasts or even just like essential topics I can research myself to learn more??? Iâve been trying but Iâm US based and have had a difficult time sifting through propaganda just on my own to get to the focus of us imperialism and itâs affect on Iran. grateful for any direction you can provide!
iran between two revolutions by evrand abrahamian is a good base, if a little outdated and long for some people. abrahmian was part of the students congress against the shah so it gives some weight to the opinions presented in it.
islamology by dr ali shariati is another good in context reference to understand the reasonings behind the revolution into and as a basis for how the modern islamic republic has formed.
@hagiomoto is far more well read than i am so im tagging her so see if she has any other recommendations or comments
