I started to get deeper into it and I simply just wanted to learn tarot so I could do readings for me, for other people. At the time, I wasn't able to buy any cards because I didn't really want to tell my parents about it and ask for a deck. I distinctly remember me watching this video, and they were saying that they used a playing card deck when they didn't have a tarot deck with them. So, technically, my first deck was this golden playing card deck I got from a wedding. However, last year I got an actual tarot deck as a present from my friend and now I have three proper tarot decks. A/N: Admittedly it's been quite long since I last posted a pick a card reading, which to be honest, was the entire reason I started this blog. There really isn't much reason or rhyme for it other than I started to fall out of love for it. About being a hellenic polytheist, I really love it. For context I used to Buddhist, but I didn't feel as connected to it as I do being a helpol. And as I go about my day, I find it really comforting where little things around me remind me of a certain god or goddess. So yeah i really love it, the only downside is that I'm hesitant to tell people in real life, just because I know a lot of people form thoughts on the gods and goddesses by their myths only, which, rightfully so, makes them question how I could worship such divinities. But they are truly nothing like the myths, because surprise surprise the myths are man made and were crafted to fit the ideals of the ancient Greek society back then.
