I am an adult! Won't say my exact age here but I am 25+. :>
I am a Christian and this does affect how I engage with fandom/media to a degree. This also sometimes affects how I write my OC's and form my headcanons/depictions of canon characters, though not always.
I am on the autism spectrum.
I'm an INFJ!
My favorite color is pink and I have a huge soft spot for pretty/soft/feminine aesthetics. But I also enjoy grunge/alt stuff as well.
I am engaged irl to the bestest man and I love him very much. ;w;
I create a mix of Original and CanonxOC focused work but mainly focus on CanonxOC shenanigans admittedly. I also enjoy creating illustrations based on my OC's backstories/lore.
My original projects thus far are the Salvation Saga, Tales of Yamora, and Project NOVA. (Titles pending bc some of these working titles are garbage lol)
I hop from fandom to fandom constantly and p much just draw whatever strikes my fancy at the moment, but I am also often juggling at least two fandoms at once. I apologize in advance for the inconsistency.
Some of my favorite fictional characters include Steve Rogers, Clark Kent/Superman, Bruce Wayne/Batman, Logan Howlett, Optimus Prime, and Hellboy.
I collect art books, dolls, figurines/funkos, and plushies! As well as general geeky memorabilia that brings me joy. :>

🎨 About my Work 🎨
My OC's are rarely ever canon compliant and should be taken with a graceful helping of salt. I do like to at least make it plausible for them to fit into the worlds I'm putting them in, but I very rarely ever force my characters to fit into a strict box bc that's just not creatively rewarding for me. I usually just take the general concepts/ideas of a thing and run w it when making characters, and I am going to take creative liberties with things. So if I'm personally happy with where a character is at, I will not change them just bc it doesn't perfectly align with canon.
Everything I do in regard to fandom/canon characters and events within my work should be taken in a strictly canon-divergent/AU context. My personal interpretations of the things I like are rarely ever compliant with canon, esp if it does things I personally don't like or don't agree with, so my personal work may not always follow the same veins as the source material or the commonly accepted consensus. I am going to take creative liberties and take what I like while leaving what I don't. Whatever makes me happy/satisfied with it in the end. If what does that for me isn't your thing, thats totally ok, but I will not tolerate combativeness or disrespect over fictional characters. Just let me have my fun and block me/block the tags I use for the thing if it's not your cup of tea.
I put my characters through HELL ON EARTH and it def gets extremely dark on occasion when I'm writing character backstories so DEFINITELY be aware of that, but I do always make sure to lead them to a satisfying/happy ending. I am extremely hope pilled and almost never leave my characters in extremely dark places bc I personally don't typically vibe with those kinds of endings. It's all going to be okay in the end. And if it isn't okay, it isn't the end.
I am a severe multishipper who has so many canonxoc ships under her belt it's a little embarrassing. I just like exploring multiple ship possibilities with my OC's. Some are absolute OTP's while others are more secondary/just for fun.
Most of my work would be considered SFW. However I am not immune to some mild heat now and again, so some suggestiveness might spring up here and there. I am not shy about blood or swearing should the character or illustration call for it, either, and I will make sure to tag it if any such subject matter appears in my work so it can be filtered appropriately.

This is not a DNI. All who like my art/OC's are welcome here regardless of who they are and where they come from. These are just some general rules for what I am and am not willing to accept when it comes to behavior.
Please do not steal, trace, repost, reuse, or edit my work/characters without my consent. Any instance of this is a violation of my intellectual property rights and action will be taken if it occurs.
I have the right to block anyone who acts rude/nasty/disrespectful or makes me uncomfortable for any reason. Please be kind and use the ask box responsibly.
Anyone who acts creepy/gross towards me or my OC's will be blocked on sight.
We will not accept/enable weird parasocial behavior in this house. Anyone who acts waaay too personal/familiar with me when I don't know them will be ignored and/or blocked.
Any disrespect/rudeness/cruelty towards me because of my faith will be blocked immediately. If you really hate my religion so much that you can't control yourself in the presence of someone with those beliefs, then so be it. But you can take your Christophobia elsewhere. (I will also block people I see doing this to other people. Bullying someone because of their faith, esp behind their back, is never ok.)
Any celebration of death or harm upon others will get people blocked immediately. I don't care if they don't agree with you politically or w/e, outright celebrating the death/harm of another human being is vile and a huge red flag. Same goes for telling people to go kill themselves, even as a joke.
Any use of my art for AI training or NFT's is strictly prohibited. If you see my work being fed into AI or used for NFT's, it was done without my permission and is infringing on my intellectual property rights.
Please do not compare my OC's or work to other characters, stories, or creators' work with no other context as to why or how it's meant to be taken. It is generally pretty rude to do and I never quite know how to respond to those statements when I don't have anything else to go off of.
You're welcome to draw fanart of my personas/OC's/ships if you like, however I would ask that any art made is kept PG-13/TV-14 for my own comfort. Making out/mild heat? Cuddling? Cute domestic stuff? HECK YEAH! NSFW? Please do not.
My creativity is not beholden to canon or fanon. Anything and everything I do when meshing my work/interpretations/headcanons with the source material should be taken in a canon-divergent/AU context.
If you don't like me or my OC's or what I do with my personal headcanons/AU's, BLOCK ME. I know what I do won't be for everybody, but I don't need or want to hear about how evil I am for not blindly following canon/fanon when it does things that I can't align with. I am not going to phone it in and be inauthentic in my approach just to fit in with a bunch of strangers. Any insistence that this is expected of me will get you blocked on sight.
Please remember that my art and social media presence is only the smallest minuscule glimpse into my life. You do not know me and I am not someone to be idolized or put on a pedestal, nor am I an enemy to be destroyed. If you're going to idolize anyone, idolize Jesus, and if you have any problems, he's the one to take your concerns to. As for me, I'm just a rando who likes drawing and sharing her art online as part of her hobby.
I'm intent on keeping this blog free of discourse and politics/politically charged topics bc I find that kind of environment very unhealthy/triggering for me, and I cannot handle that sort of subject matter invading my art/fandom space. By extension, if any drama, controversy, or anything politically charged/divisive happens in any fandoms I'm in, I will be ignoring it and just doing my own thing here. Anyone who tries to breach that will be blocked.

After weeks of not knowing where to put certain things I've decided that another use for my official fandom-focused blog will also be to store all the reblogs I want to save surrounding fandom/fanfic/media culture as well as my usual nonsense over there.

Hey guys, you may not have heard of this, but I have got wind of this website called VGen dot com that is basically a freelance commissions hub where they extensively vet all their artists to make sure they aren't scammers and don't use AI. Apparently this is where all the indie authors are going now to get their cover commissions as well.

my biggest word of advice to anyone scared to post their work/ocs/involve themselves in creative spaces online is to earnestly get interested in other people. be kind to others, like/reblog their work, tell them what you like about their work, get to know them as people.
this isn’t to “weasel” your way into anything or having ulterior motives or whatever. if you become friends with someone then that’s great! but there’s always something very personal about posting any kind of creative work. we’re all trying our best to connect with each other and the best way to get comfortable is to get to know others and show up as yourself. 🫶🏾
ugh we need more manipulative characters that aren’t evil. lie and cheat and steal for a good cause. control every narrative. use narcissism for justice. ruin all of your personal relationships for the good of the mission.

I don’t think there’s such a thing as “morally gray” characters. Characters want to do things for specific reasons. Those reasons can be selfish or selfless, correct or incorrect, right or wrong. They can’t be both or neither.
They can have more than one reason for doing something but usually if you make a list, they do things for either more Good Reasons or more Bad Reasons.
Example: Snape made most of his decisions based on love for Lily. But it was unrequited love, and when all your decisions, including decisions to be cruel, vindictive, and a liar, are made to please a memory (not even the real person, because she’s dead) of a woman who’s dead in your head? What you’re really doing is pleasing yourself. Therefore Snape is a morally bad character. He’s just super sympathetic. So you have mixed feelings about him. But just because you have mixed feelings doesn’t mean he’s morally ambiguous.
It means his actions look morally ambiguous on the surface, but anything deeper than the surface and you can see what he is, easy.

It's because all mankind is fallen from good.
But also, this is why people who don't like Steve Rogers don't like Steve Rogers.
Because 1) you know what "Good" is but you hate it because its very existence calls you out. Or 2) you know what "Good" is and you wouldn't say that you hate it, you'd say it's "boring." But that's because you've trained your tastes for the opposite of Good: you've cultivated a taste for people less Good, more like you, and called it "interesting." Just like anybody who cultivates a taste for junk food and then finds a fruit salad boring.
