I'm working at 4, so I had to go for my daily workout earlier...a tad rougher in 23C and only 45 min after food! But eh, this girl made it. Feeling good after my 30 min trail run where I managed to cover 3.33km, and then I walked back cause my phone was almost dead. Running without music is not an option with me; but I got to hear the birds chirping, and the sound of the river. It was a beautiful evening to be out. This is in celebration of the arrival of summer! My advice to you Dr Zack!

Today May 12 is fibromyalgia awareness day (and other pain associated syndrome). I happen to be a fibro warrior. I don't look sick most of the time, but it doesn't mean it's not there. Everything takes a bit more effort, even when I'm doing well. And no, it's not in my head! Actually, I was reading recently that a dr who happens to be a fibro warrior herself was saying it should be classified as a sleep disorder. I see her point, and well a lot of it seems neurological in nature. What I can do is manage my condition the best I can. And what you can do to help is to take it seriously. I had so much fun this afternoon. I gave myself a birthday present and did a pin-up photoshoot with @pinupperfectionphotography These are some unretouched iPhone shots. Time flew by, and honestly, I felt ready to do it again as soon as we were done. It gave me lots of positive energy. I felt totally pampered. Can't wait to see all the proofs.
