Of course, he saw that â the eye roll. How could anybody miss that facial cue when they were looking at the other person? The gesture of annoyance across her features? That was enough for him to have an initial impression of her go in a particular direction. If anything however, this type of reaction wasnât foreign towards the man. For a man who was as rough as the sharp thorns to red roses, it was only negative behavior most of the time that he receives. That doesnât necessarily go well since nothing good draws out from such actions. So hopefully, this conversation doesnât go too awful as the tone to his voice does not falter in response once more.
âHmph. Well then, if you are still wanting it to be quiet â keep to yourself and weâll be on fair groundâŚâ
Seriously? Why the hell did this guy have such a freaking attitude? Resisting the urge to once more roll her eyes, Anna attempted to be civil. Not only was she stressing over her notes, she was now on the receiving end of a guy who took everything way to seriously and personally. She hadnât done anything wrong, had she? Heâd walked in and automatically reacted with such a tone - âYou donât own the bloody cafe,â she muttered to herself, picking up the semi cold cuppa sheâd been working on since entering the cafe, âbut fine.â Going back to her notes - this time silently - it only took a moment for Anna to speak again. This time, of course, because she just couldnât keep her thoughts to herself, âSeriously, though - what bit you in the arse? Or do you just generally walk around with the most impossible sour mood known to man?â
