I FINALLY finished my Baton replica 🥰

The first thing I did was finding out how long the baton was overall, even if approximately. This is something I have already done before for Rick Trager’s shears, so here’s a sketch about that [since I did the calculations for the Baton with only slightly adjusted measurements, that was the only thing that changed in my approach, I unfortunately couldn’t find my baton sketches for this specific calculation anymore ._.]:

My calculations for the baton concluded that it had to be 600mm in total, so I took a render that shows the whole length of the thing into Adobe Illustrator, and adjusted the image of the baton so it would equal a shape with a length of 600mm:

With this in place, you can already see that I traced along all the other features to gather their respective sizes, so I could then model them in Fusion 360 and print them:

After I printed everything, this little doodle was the one that I used the most to reference the placement of the pieces on the aluminium rods:

I also have a video of a very tired me explaining the assembly, but it won’t allow me to tag it along here sooo basically in the ends I could slide on the readily painted pieces on like beads :>

Tried something new for the specialist flash, and I don’t know how to feel about it, but I promised this ages ago so here it is

[flash commissions open btw , and as always my non comission motives are free to get with credit ✨]

[it’s not items like usual because the common denominator between the specialists is their face coverings, so I wanted to feature that, and it inevitably turned into mini portraits because of that decision]

[also no quotes, because…I couldn’t just put "AAAAA" for the pitcher. In place of that, each of them got a coloured effect]
